depending on what all you have in it, it can get as low as 10 miles to the gallon, most of the ones i see get around 12-15 on the average ,my last one if i didn't get in it too much would average around 14 to the gallon that wasn't good but not bad for what all it had in it,they never got very good to begin with,so there is some improvements that can be made to them that will help them on mileage.good luck on it.

Rest assured you will NOT get 14 MPG driving around town and street racing and neither will a 375 horse 440. Been there, done that, and still doing it. '71 Challenger, 383, four speed, 3.23 gears (Sure Grip), 15 miles one way to work on two lane road with 55 for a speed limit, 16.7 MPG has been the best. And this is keeping my foot out of the four barrel. Two lane road, not many places to pass, but I do when needed if I can do it safely. Unrestricted air cleaner lets me know when all four barrels are in, 15.2-15.9 MPG if I'm not easy with the throttle. Thinking about buying a pair of Edelbrock aluminum heads to see if mileage will be better, know power will be up.
