I know they are over here illegally and everything. But why would they thank us when all we do is talk crap about them. Like their country sucks, go back to your country, criminals, liars, wetbacks, border jumpers, ya know all that stuff. I understand what you're getting at, and I do agree. That's the way they see it and we see them being here illegally. There isn't an in between and there needs to be.

There may well be a number of motives, initiate out with the aid of fact they do no longer choose for all and sundry to understand they're unlawful, they do no longer talk or understand English, they stay in concern that somebody is going to deliver them lower back to Mexico in the event that they're got here across. Alot of them chatting with one yet another of their own language can tell one yet another what they'd and have been waiting to get. you're ideal in what you have noted, what began out to be humane recommendations, has grew to become out to be in call of Human Rights for those people. the place is each and all of the Human Rights for our older American Citizen that are having a no longer ordinary tome making ends by using expenses of each and everything and no way for them to get or locate the comparable help all immigrants are waiting to get carry of. It wasn't component to your question, yet all those those that come into america, artwork for the minimum years necessary to deliver at the same time Social protection, return to their worldwide places to stay at greater skill than if that they had stay there. specific, they have their rights to do regardless of they choose for, yet that funds isn't staying interior america financial gadget to assist all those immigrants that are coming in.

"We extend a loving arm to the needy and turn a blind eye to the ...." are you kidding??? Majority of illegal immigration is due to poverty in their own countries. They come here to work extremely hard not only to support themselves, but the family they have often left behind. If we took the dishwashing, lawn mowing, house cleaning, babysitting low paying jobs away from them, or if factories, farms and so on would enforce the non-hiring of illegal immigrants maybe then and only then could we stop this cycle. Why would you even say ..."if we adopt the values of these illegals" what does that even mean. They are trying to survive and it is not an easy task! I agree that the means are illegal, but don't generalize, have a heart!

Because they have been told that they have the same rights as citizens by their leaders. They don't see (or don't want to see) the difference between human rights and citizen's rights. Why should they be thankful? They are constantly told by people with certain agendas that we should be thankful to have them. But the only people that benefit from illegal immigration are the wealthy business owners and politicians. Illegals don't realize that they are feeding the monster that will bring us all down to the level of slaves. Either that or they only care about what they can get today and don't worry about what the future will be like for their children. We already see that today's young people can't afford the same lifestyle as their parents because of stagnating wages. I guess that's why so many people continue to live with their parents as adults. They can't afford to leave, even with full time jobs. I think this trend will continue and get worse if something isn't done to change this situation.

You know a lot of illegals ARE thankful for what America has given them. Like, the opportunity to work, to have good health care and education for their kids, and try to live the "American Dream", just as all of the immigrants of the past. Yes some of them are cynical or want to feel like the victim, but in my experience this is just a few. Maybe if you actually talked to illegals instead of getting your news from Lou Dobbs, you would feel differently about them. Also do you know what, the kids that were burning the US flag and being noisy at the protests were not even illegals, they were chicano kids and US citizens!! And I don't know why they are angry, since they have been given so much, both by their parents who work hard so they could have a better life and by the government. Anyways to end I'll quote some lines of a song by J-P called "ni de aqui ni de alla" which means "neither here nor there", this is a very popular singer who was born in Mexico but when he was a small kid his family snuck him into the US, and here some ppl rejected him bc of his accent, his skin colorand the fact that he was illegal, so when he was an adult he went back to Mexico but they rejected him there too for his American accent and how "Americanized" he is! so he writes: "not gold nor riches, makes me feel as happy as I am to live in this beautiful country...I have opportunities here that Mexico couldn't give me...Mexico I miss you but I'm from this side now and if we have to attack, give me the gun and I'll shoot Bin Ladin myself..."

I worked with many Latino both illegal and legal and most if not all think that not only that the reason they are here is the USA fault, and things are better in their home country. It is not what have you done for me, but what have you done for me today. There was girl from Cuba that came when she was 6 in 1962, that was before bilingual education, and still blamed the USA because when she came she only spoke Spanish, and their was not a special program for her in Spanish. Many have parents that came in the 60's while they were in their 30's and still do not speak English, and want their services in Spanish.

Because you probably don't know any personally, and you are just going by what you are recently seeing on TV and the Newspaper which are the biggest false source of information when it comes to immigration.

Yesterday's news report in my city even pointed out how the information that has been given to the public on the amount of Illegals in Jail, the amount of crimes that have been committed by them have been exaggerated. They even questioned the District Attorney as why he had a News conference for something an Illegal did and not for a murder of a few people committed by a Caucasian.

They are not animals! They are people too. I am not saying they are in the right for crossing illegally however they are coming over here to support their families. Blame the government for allowing them to recieve all the benefits. They are hard workers and any hispanic family that I have met would welcome any hungry person in their home and feed them. America has given them a minimum wage paying job that they are proud to have and they are very loyal to. There are bad people in every race.

You're generalizing. I know some people here illegally. They're grateful to be here and would do anything to become legal but their options are limited.
