Im 33 yrs old, stuck in a dead end job... when I was a little baby, my father was in the army. Someone told my wife that if my father was in the army(even if it was many years ago) I could possibly get help going to school now?see, the problem is, I have a wife and a small child..with bills every month. I just cant stop working with no income coming in. So is there some sort of help(financialy) just wondering. thanks in advance for any answers

The GI bill is what someone had mentioned to your wife. I'm sure the GI bill only applies to "GI" not their children. The first thing I would do is talk with an Academic Adviser at the college you want to attend. There maybe advisers who specialize in returning adult students. Tell the adviser about your situation and they should be able to tell you about scholarships or grants you could be eligible for.

I don't get it. Didn't you finish your education then applied for the job. And why go to a school in this age? In almost every country there are some institution which help grown ups to get primary and secondary education? Consult with one and its normally govt. supported.

I would doubt, as an adult child of a veteran that you'd qualify for any benefits. Maybe you can contact the V.A. office (Veteran's Affairs) office nearest your city and see if they have any scholorship or aid info.
