If so, where and how did you do?
Example: I showed in Ft Wayne, IN, and took a 5pt major with a client's ACD puppy the last day and RWD the first 2 days, plus BOB one day with the ACD special.

Nope -- and it was my National Specialty. I missed it this year, and I spent the weekend on my cell phone, demanding results and being insanely jealous that I was missing out!

Luckily, I'm entered in a couple of weekends, so I'll get my fix. ;)

Congrats on the major!

Congrats! I'm not ready to show with my girl yet, but it's coming soon! The best I am doing is stewarding in the novice ring at the cluster this weekend. Hoping I will learn from watching others actually do it :)

Yes - Flop and I competed in a NADAC trial this weekend. We got 1st and Q in Touch n Go and a very nice 2nd and Q in the super speedy Tunnelers class. I was chief ring steward for that show and got to see a lot of my great Agility friends run, and got to have fun with my dog too. Why can't we play all the time?
Congrats on YOUR achievements!
Both of my dogs are rescues. I have not yet run in to one instance of snobbery or prejudice against mixed breeds at any of the Agility or Flyball events that I attend. I volunteer for rescue as well. No need to put down other people, please.

I had a specialty on the past Sunday. All (three) took their classes. One of them took a 5 point major as Winners ***** and Award of Merit. Nothing can ask for more.

Not in conformation this weekend, just draft. Requalified my boy!!!
Congrats on your weekend!!!!

Gee Rescue Member, Looks like a question to me!!!! What is your problem? People cannot talk about things they have done with thier dogs if they didn't get them from a shelter??
Makes you sound.....BITTER.

Why don't you "do-gooders" go and ask and answer some questions about rescue!!!!!! Why would you dump on people just because they show? Pretty childish.

This weekend I also got three boxes of cats and kittens from next to the river and had to spend my Sunday afternoon FeLV/FIV testing all of them and euthanizing several in BAD condition. So go spew your "rescue is everything" crap elsewhere!!!!!

No, but I'm going to Syracuse on the 18th. I have a bred-by b*tch and a rally (advanced) entry as well.

Then Montreal the following weekend with a different bred-by b*tch. I was going to enter agility, but the entries closed earlier than I expected.

EDIT: See - LiaChien is a good demonstration of my earlier comment about "reverse snobbery". No one here said anything bad about rescues, but she feels she has to put down our dogs.

And yes, I am involved in rescue, so don't try to club me with that.

Poms - I'm from Ontario

I competed with my rescued one year old Aussie with a tail at an agility and obedience cluster trial.
He earned a 190 towards his CDX title, and a second leg in JWW for his NA!!
So I would say it was a very successful weekend indeed :)

This Saturday four of my rescued dogs are entered in an animal shelter fund-raising agility trial. All entrance proceeds go to the shelter dogs! What a a great cause!

Showing your rescued dogs is even more exciting than winning with your "purebred" dogs.

I wish.

Although I picketed mandatory spay neuter and microchip. That was an experience.
