I'm currently 245 lbs with BMI 21%. My question is. I started lifting weights about 4 months ago and i've only lost 10 lbs. Not much. I've expected more weight to have been lost. But I'm noticing my clothes are fitting better and i'm looking smaller and other people say that i have a big muscle mass. But why isn't me weight going down.

Because muscle weighs more than fat! You're probably losing inches and gaining muscle which is great! good for you!
Sometimes your weight can even increase by quite a lot just by doing weights, but this is muscle weight. It's a good thing. So don't fear!
Oh and did you know having muscle instead of fat burns more calories? So even if your sitting watching tv, you're still burning more calories than you would with fat.
Good luck with the training!

"What the h*** are you bothered about? If your BMI is 21, you're just a naturally BIG person. There are some, you know."

What a completely stupid, unhelpful and ignorant comment. The healthy BMI range is from 18 - 25 so 21.5 is in no way big. It's because of ill-educated bullies like you that people develop eating disorders. I suggest you go and educate yourself.

You have turned your excess fat into muscle and defined your body shape. Muscle weighs more than fat. To loose weight you must cut down on you calorific intake.

Hope this helps and if people have noticed a more streamline you then it can't be bad can it?

1. Because muscle weighs more than fat.
2. Because you're still growing?
3. Your body is still adjusting to the changes you have made.

You are putting on muscle, which weighs heavy (lack of weight loss). You'll be toning up (clothes fitting better).
