Anyone who has ever been in the military or still is, particularly if they're a combat vet, will tell you that true support is based on actions, not words--and at no time, ever, involves hamstringing troops in a combat zone.
Actions always speak louder than words, regardless of how loud or feverish the rhetoric gets.
EDIT: Samantha, Democrats have yet to do any of the things you mentioned, much less have shown any interest, comprehension, or support of the mission the troops have been working so hard to accomplish with so little in the last six years.

first off I do support the troops, I do almost all of that
and second, I'm a liberal and right now I'm a bit more focused on bringing them ya know, HOME. I'm sure they would rather be home safe thenin some friggin desert fighting and unnecessary war. and by the way I've had so far six cousins go to Iraq, my god-father went, my dad's friend just finsiehd his 2nd tour, my mom's friend is in Iraq, so believe me, I've talked to those who've been there and some are emotionally scarred for life. So before you makean assumption that we don't care about them, we're doing something better than you republicans, we're trying to get them home safely.
oh here's a sort of random thing i think liberals and conservatives can agree on possibly,
why are so many reservists going? cuz i have friends and family in the air force and army and they've never gone but then my dad's friend were both in the reserves and two of my cousins were. just sort of odd ya know, figure I'd add that in :<)

you will possibly be a Liberal and help the militia, no-one needs a brave youthful guy who volunteer's do shelter their united states. it somewhat is the human beings giving the orders and could be puzzled, the those that elect that action. it somewhat is the job of the militia to persist with the orders they are given, to the suitable they might.(remember the previous asserting with reference to the militia "it somewhat is not for them to reason, it rather is for them to do and die") question the Bush's the Chaney's the Rumsfelds and in time the Obama's or McCain's and how ever they have working for them, question them and the orders they provide not the human beings how could persist with the orders.

I am a V. V. I all ready support our Troops in that way. Now just where and when did you serve? Some of you people want to turn the whole Military into a political issue. Most of those that do this never served a day in their life. Do you happen to be one of those?

Sure. Maybe while you're at it you should send a thank you to the Liberal Washington Post for exposing the wretched conditions at Walter Reed that your President couldn't care less about for the first three years of the war.
THAT is supporting the troops.
