that says the sun and moon and life are completely the result of a coincidence???

according to some christians, science claims that every is a matter of chance but I've never seen this.

To my understanding, science testifies to the laws of physics, and also the principles of entropy and chaos, but I haven't seen anything about the formation of the universe happening from a "coincidence".

Weird, ain't it? It appears that the logic in use will only allow two possibilities: Goddidit, or random chaos.

The idea that natural, unguided proceses could lead to orderly, complex structures is, admittedly, counterintuitive. But isn't it increasingly obvious that intuition and 'common sense' are pathetic tools for analysing the details of reality. Common sense was designed by nature to keep us alive and get us laid.

As I've said before, common sense will tell you unequivocally that the Earth is flat, and the sun goes round it. Yet people still use this blunt instrument to judge cosmology and abiogenesis.

I'm still looking for it myself.

I have always been under the impression that it was all cause and effect, and if it had turned out even slightly different, we wouldn't be here.

I don't think anything happened by coincidence, though. We would simply not be here if it turned out differently, but it didn't turn out differently. So here we are.

According to many religionists, the version of science they disagree with always tends to be quoted by S.T. Rawman.

S.T. Rawman is a scientist who (coincidentally) exhibits the same ignorance of real science as they themselves do.

Obviously their association with science texts has been very short lived.

I doubt they've ever read one, for all they try to tell everyone what science says. But then, straw men are easier to debate than actual information.

Here you go. A form of this model is in every science book in every public school.

Christians lie.

I don't believe in coincidences. I believe in Mathematics.
