Why are troops with G.E.Ds not eligible for the sign on bonuses?

actually in many cases it IS true. GED holders are not eligible for many of the jobs that are offering sign on bonuses, regardless of ASVAB score. For instance, in the Navy, they are offering big bucks to be a Nuke. however, GED holders do not qualify for Nuke regardless of their line scores.

As long as you pick an MOS that is giving away a bonus you will get a bonus, second you must score over a 50 on the ASVAB, and have a 110 GT Score.

Talk to you recruiter he or she will explain that to you.

Check with your local recruiter, because I don't think that is true.
