too much of anything and lack of exercise will make you fat.
portion control and DAILY exercise are the keys to losing weight.

the short answer is yes! i used to be really big, around 17st, i started dieting and exercising but became dangerously obsessed about my dieting!! and obsessively exercising, i entered a viscious circle. basically i stopped worrying about my diet, we all know in this day and age whats good for us and whats not, everything in moderation. i just exercise now and don't over indulge and am ripped to the t!ts, svelt in other words. just find an hour every other day to do some form of exercise and you'll be fine.

Every food is fattening and I am afraid you stand little chance of controlling your weight unless you start taking some regular vigorous exercise.

try to drink alot of water... i used to sit on my bum all day at my job too and yeah u can pretty much fill up on junk, but it's good u go to the gym. it's a big help. i used to keep almonds at my desk and caffene free tea's... the whole grain idea is good too. u can buy whole grain bars to keep at ur desk to snack on. i personally am hungry every half hour to an hour on ever half hour to hour. lol i'm non stop all day so keep healthy snacks with u to munch on n u should be good. also remember when bored u can mistake it for hunger just to keep occupied and even when ur thirsty u can mistake it for hunger so try to keep water with u at all times. good luck

You can eat carbs but just not BAD carbs. Make your carbs whole grain products like whole grain breads and whole grain crackers. Eat snacks like fresh fruits or veggies with low fat dips. Nuts are good too. Make your carbs whole grain and leave out the white rice, white bread, doughnuts and other non whole grain things.
