You didn't mention whether you were talking about adult or baby diapers, I assume you were talking about baby diapers but all I know about are adult diapers, but I will give my answer anyway and maybe it will be of some help.

I don't know about all the different brands, all I know is about what I wear.

I use the depends extra absorbency (night time type) in the medium size and without any doublers it can hold almost three good wettings but you have to make sure you are in a position where the urine will flow throughout the whole diaper, otherwise it will leak on you.

I've tried several store brands and don't like them. One, because the fit is not good, two they don't hold as much and leak sooner so paying less for something that doesn't last as long is no savings in money, as a matter of fact, I found that using the store brand actually cost me more in the long run financially as well as in embarassing moments.

The nursing home that my wife is in uses Tena brand for all their patients and so does the local hospital. I don't know whether that means they are better or that they just got a good deal on the price. I can't buy them in the local stores to try them and I really don't want to buy them online.

I hope this information helped you.

Good luck.

The one that leaks the least?

Seriously, though, assuming that you are referring to a science [P]roject, I would imagine that your kid's teacher doesn't want a single answer. I would think that your daughter has to try at least three or so different diapers (brands, types, whatever) to see which one holds the most liquid, and that your daughter must be able to prove it in class (sort of like "show and tell"). Personally, I think this is WAY too advanced for a second grader . . . fourth, maybe, but second? They're barely out of nap time, for heaven's sake. Are you sure you're talking about the right daughter? ;)

Regardless, ask your friends (or your daughter's parents) to donate a diaper or two, making sure to note the brand, type, etc, and then have your daughter bring them to class to try. However, I'm baffled as to how she's going to demonstrate this without some huge tub or vat to contain the inevitable floods!

IMHO, this project has sprung a "leak";
you might even say that it "stinks"
and should be "changed"!
At the very least, it doesn't quite hold water! ;)
(sorry . . . I couldn't resist those puns!)

NASA diapers. Houston to Cape Canaveral - 900 miles - on 1 diaper.

My mom used wool diapers for my bottom- can't say I remember anything, but my lack of a penis from the possible friction of it rubbing against the front of the diaper tells me that the pain is still alive today

For babies, I use Pampers
Really we just wanted to see if that was the best and it hasn't failed us yet. You can buy some of each and find out through some testing..

The obvious choice is a burlap potato sack. Even though it may be rough tush, it gets the job done. Nuff Said
