The kids are 3 and 5 years old, and they're sooo cute. But they never know what to do, and I never have suggestions for what to do. But then finally they both want to play different games and they're making me play those games with them. I'm only one person, I can't play two games at once! Are there any games for them that we could play altogether, not individually?

kids love to be outside.. sometimes it can be a pain in the butt because.. number one.. you gotta dress them in the right stuff and sometime that means changing there whole outfit.. putting on shoes.. and so forth.. and number two because you have to go outside with them... but.. if you make it fun for them.. they'll really love you as a baby sittier... just say .. HEY GUYS WANNA GO OUTSIDE!!!! play tag with them for a few minuites pretend your a 'tickle monster' and chase them around the yard get there energy out. another thing is that there 3 and 5 year olds like the same kind of things.. the most fun things you can do with them is games.. that aren't real games... make up games in your head... play.... guess what i'm thinking.. or guess what time it is... kids love stuff like that... you could also color or draw... plato is another excelent idea as long as your willing to clean up the mess when your done.

Well ages 3 and 5 differ in what they want to play. They might like Hide & Seek, but set boundries like only on this floor or only in this room. Puzzles are good too, but make sure if is enough fun for the 5 yr. old but easy enough for the 3 yr. old (you may have to be the 3yr. olds buddie depending on the puzzle). Other ideas are
Arts & Crafts
Guess the Animal
Chalk
Park (weather permiting)
Scavenger Hunt (Indoor/Outdoor)
Draw
Play-Doh
Make a Tent
Read a Story
Take funny Pictures
If, you are allowed to use the Oven make cookies. Have them help you mix everything and you can handle the oven.If not make anyother type of fun snack i.e. Trail Mix, Lemonade (here is a lemonade recipe that doesn't involve the stove)

Magenta's Pink Lemonade Recipe
Servings: Makes 1 quart
1/2 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
1 cup strawberries, washed and leaves trimmed
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
Ice cubes
4 fresh mint sprigs
Step 1
In a blender or food processor, combine the lemon juice with the strawberries and sugar. Replace the lid and process the mixture on high until the strawberries are completely puréed.
Step 2
If your kids do not like pulp in their drinks, pour the mixture through a strainer and press the pulp to squeeze out all the juice.
Step 3
Add the strained or unstrained mixture into a pitcher. Pour in the water and stir until the mixture is completely blended. Step 4
Fill four 8-ounce cups with ice cubes. Pour the lemonade over the ice. Garnish the drinks with a sprig of mint and serve. If your kids like a little fizz in their drinks, then use one cup of water with one cup of seltzer water.
Step 5
No fresh lemons? Combine one cup puréed strawberries with one container lemonade concentrate. Add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of seltzer.

(In case you were wondering Magenta is from Blue's Clues)

Do some art and craft projects with them. String beads and make necklaces and bracelets. Paint. Draw, find some books on craft projects you can do with junk. paper plates, napkins, egg cartons. etc.

Go to the zoo or park, but be very careful and get parents approval.

Do some cooking. Make cookies. Bake a cake

This summer i babysat a 2 year old and a 7 year old and they loved going to the park, or feeding the ducks. Or maybe get out some sidewalk chalk...every kid loves to draw with chalk on the driveway. just make sure its ok with the parents first.
