He has worms. Go to a vet again. Sometimes they need more than one cycle of treatments.

sound like worms, If you have already given him worm med don't give more until specified on the bottle. If he is eating non stop proportion its food. Some kittens will eat for comfort. When there stomach bothers them they eat. Even tho they aren't hungry. Look on the pet food label it should tell you how much to feed your kitten by using its body weight. If it dosent get better in a couple days take it back to the vet. You should also have the vets phone # on your bill call the vet & ask.

Sounds like your kitty has round worms. Take him to the vet again. If he had worms in the past one treatment is not enough in most cases. The kitty would poop and then scrape the poop or the sand around it and then lick his paws and there you go he has past the worms to himself again... if it is worms make sure you keep him very clean and that you wipe his bottom and paws after he goes.
Good Luck!! Congrats on the new addition

Do you see worms in his stool? Sounds like he is passing worms. My dog had extended belly, ate lots and whimpered while he was passing them. You will not see them every time but keep a look out and if you see them then you will know that the dewormer is working.

I volunteer for kitten shelter. We worm our kittens 1x a week for 3 weeks. The yellowish poop could be something called coccidea. If it's really smelly too, it could be the culprit. There is no way to tell for sure unless you take a stool sample in. But caution...kittens can get dehydrated from diarrhea and can die fairly quickly. I would definetly call your vet.

Feed him small amounts of food 4 times a day and water at all times. He is eating too much at one time. When a little older feed him twice a day and of course water. Kittens meow when they need attention, it's normal and so do adult cats. If he is 8 weeks old now and you took him to the vet 2 weeks ago at 6 weeks of age, he was taken from his mother too early. It will take him time to adjust. Oh yes, don't give him milk, bad for the tummy.

well, its more than likely to be because he is scarred to death, he has been shoved into new surroundings and doesnt know what to do with himself, the best thing to do is put everything of his into one room, put him in there and leave him alone for a while, all the big scary people will be crowding roung him and he would not be used to it, sit in the room with him, dont let anyone else in, just you and the kitten, you read a book or something and just keep and eye on him but leave him alone, have him in the same room for a couple of days and then let him out for a while, so he can explore a bit, but leave him to it, just let him get used to his new surroundings, he is probly very nervouse at the moment! i hope this helps!
