she had her first litter in may we still have two of the kittens they do not feed on momma anymore. But my question is why is she ( momma ) so mean at times, just about a month ago, her son was laying under the fish tank minding his own business and here comes momma walking by and she slapped him up and then kept on walking.

The kittens were born in may. I don't understand why she is doing this even at times when we rub her belly she attacks our hands and scratches us like crazy. She isn't pregnant but I just do not understand her behavior can someone pls help?

After babies some cats that liked belly rubs stop liking them. Siamese cats (even 1/2) are prone to being pretty mean and rough. They also are more...selfish that most cats. They LOVE attention and like being the 'only child' so she may just be upset that her kittens haven't found their own place yet so that she can have you back to herself. Give her lots of attention and eventually she'll get use to sharing you. Though she may never get along w/ her own kids. Good Luck!

Yes, all cat species, with the exception of lions that live in prides, boot their kittens out after learning the ways of the world...and expect them to leave and live their own lives.

Yet, many people keep mums and babies. From my experience, they will eventually tolerate one another, but a friendship is not guaranteed.

She's probably trying to tell the kitten it's time to find his own house.

You'll want to get her spayed ASAP. And get her a check-up in case there was something about having the kittens that's bothering her.

Good luck!

She is sick of those kittens!!!
Mother cats naturally reject their kittens when weaned. She expected them to leave a long time ago, and now they are still around, she is just reacting to her instincts.
