And she told you her husband was the ruler of mankind and lived in the sky and mentioned that son would get tortured by the evil jews to make up for all the messed up things you have been doing in life.

Probably the same way Joseph thought when Mary told him. He had a change of heart and married her after God revealed the truth to him.

It would be good to remember that Mary didn't make an issue of being a virgin. The Bible indicates, from Joseph's initial response, that people in Mary's hometown would have thought Jesus was an illegitimate child. Yes, Mary knew Jesus was the Messiah but seemed to raise Him like He wasn't, according to the incident at the Temple. And while there were references in the Old Testament to the death of the Messiah, I'm not sure Mary or Joseph either one really grasped the whole thing. So, there's no reason to believe Mary went around telling about her crucifix destined miracle conception Child. But in answer to your question, even Jesus' own brothers thought He was an odd fellow because of the way He acted. It probably wasn't until He began performing miracles that anyone's opinion of Jesus changed; except His mom's opinion, of course.

Well, I have heard of cases where women had both male and female reproductive organs and could possible inseminate themselves. Not very common, but it is possible. That is one explanation.

Next up is the insanity option. The person could be insane. This could be a condition brought about by a brutal rape (which would also bring about the insemination) or it could be a condition that the woman has always suffered from.

Another possiblility would be a date rape situation. If the woman were drugged and then raped, she might not even have knowledge of the intercourse. From there, who knows what kind of explanation she would come up with.

Finally, is the good old lying scenario. Many people lie. It happens all of the time. There are plenty of people who will make up some wild story but they are completely sane. Maybe she is lying to protect her or her family reputation. Maybe she is lying for benefit, maybe hoping someone would take care of her or give her money. Who knows? There are all sorts of reasons to lie.

I wouldn't believe her.

An "immaculate conception" did happen once in the history of mankind and is not expected to happen again. However, in the Muslim belief, Virgin Mary never talked that Jesus was son of God. The Chapter of Mariam (Mary) in the Quran tells that an angel appears to her, and tells her she was to give birth to a child who would become a good and pure person. the Chapter goes on to say that baby Jesus talked to the people who came to accuse Mary, and he said that he would become a Prophet. If one opens the Bible, he would see that Jesus never talked about himself as more than a human and a prophet from God.

Peace-salaam!

I'd think, this woman has probably been with Tony B. Since he thinks he's the ruler of mankind and he's probably high enough to think he lives in the sky. OR

I'd think, what is Hillary up to now...

ok, with that second sentence added then there might be a pathological explanation. However, just the first line hints to either
1) a rather poor lie
2) parthenogenesis. We can't be sure that this never happens in humans. However, keep in mind that in that case the child would always be a daughter.

1- I would say sorry, the Virgin Mary is the only one that can conceive that way

2- God is not her husband, and He was not Mary's either- He did not have sex with her either- so you cannot say that Jesus was illegitimate

3- so you are referring to if I lived in the day of Mary and Jesus? I get it- I would say- "that sounds strange to me, however, when Jesus did all those miracles, and died on the cross to forgive me and then wonder of wonders He rose from the dead I would say- "You were right, God used you like no other woman, by His Spirit to bring my Savior into the world, Thanks very much!!!

What would you say if someone told you that a child could become a magician and that because of this people would trample each other to get to the bookstore first?

Many women have become pregnant without sleeping with a man . It's what they do before falling asleep that counts .
