i just turned a picture gray using grayscale in photo shop but now i want to change it back to its original color and i can't just undo it...what should i do??

try closing without saving and opening it again

Sorry, but if the "undo" is not available, then you are out of luck. There is no "colorscale" feature as Photoshop has no way of knowing what color the shades of gray are suppose to be.

Unless you have the file in PSD format, then you can't
