Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: ***but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.***

See you there, buddy!

Nice fauxhawk.

They do realize it's talking about them. They can put two and two together. They can also realize that it's impossible for an invisible, non-existent person to write a book and the guy who wrote this book probably wanted to cover every base and make sure no one questioned what his book had to say.

Man it is a BIG A** world outside of that box, there, ain't it?

What about burnt offerings?

Numbers 29:5 says:
"And one kid of the goats for a sin offering: to make an atonement for you."

Hebrews 10:4 says:
"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. "

Which do you believe? And if God is all knowing, why did he change his mind?

So what. The bible also talks about talking donkeys and snakes and says that eating 4 legged ducks is wrong.

By the way, I am not making this stuff up.

Mr. Almost Famous, you may want to talk to a few atheists. A lot of them became atheists after reading the bible. I do not know a single atheist myself who was not religious at some prior time in his/her life. For many of them, it was a critical, in-depth examination of the religion and its texts that persuaded them to become atheists.

If refusing to believe in talking snakes and other such fairy tales makes me a fool then I suppose I'll just have to plead guilty.

So the writers and re-writers of the bible knew that some people didn't buy their sham. Is that news?

really? there were atheists in the bible? who'd 've thunk it.
I'm glad you find that funny. You'll be laughing the other side of your face when you cease to exist and get eaten by worms in the cold cold ground.

**edit now I feel mean, that was cruel, I don't know how anyone can condemn someone to hell and then feel good about themselves. not very 'christian' is it?
