There is no god...it's about control. What better way to control people than to create some all powerful being that watches you 24/7 but you can neither prove or disprove its existence and can't even understand or question its motives? Only the chosen few know what's really going on. Yeah right. But for $5 they'll pray for your enlightenment. SUCKERS!!!!

I guess that it depends on what kind of proof that you want. There is the authentication of the texts and the historicity of what is written. There is a journalistic view as well as the investigative view. What it all boils down to is when you review in the most objective view point you have to come face with one question. Who is this Jesus of Nazareth to me and what am I going to do about it? He lived and hung out with 12 men, and their families and freinds. After the "lynching", which by the way, was not done in a corner of the globe but in fact was one of the most well know current events of the time, these men women and children ran for fear. However, after 50 days many were boldly claiming, in front of many crowds, that the same Jesus is alive. Now it's one thing to die for a lie. But would YOU die for a lie KNOWING it was a lie? Would you allow your children also? So these people were either deluded, devilish or in fact telling the truth. Any modern day psycologist would tell you that the way man is, in general, would not be THAT deluded. Now there is also the many millions of people that have had a real change in their lives that they can only attribute to one event in their life. I'm sure you know what that is. If in fact you want an encounter with God, come to know The Father, The Son, Jesus Christ along with the Power of The Holy Spirit to invade your life, all you have to do is ask. I must warn you though, be prepared to know if that is really what you want. You can not come in contact with The Living God and not be changed. My prayers are with you.

There's an old saying: "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." and another one that says "There is none so blind as he that will not see."
Proof is whatever will give someone a reasonable conviction that something is true. There are very few proofs which are 'indisputable' because you can generally find at least one person who will dispute any 'proof' you choose to come up with ... even for something as basic as 'the sea is wet'!
Think of all the 'philosophical' questions about sound in a deserted forest or black cats in coal cellars. There is no 'proof' of Christianity (or any other religion) that will convince everyone. The only thing that matters is that YOU are sure beyond all reasonable doubt that a particular philosophy works for YOU. Because it may not work for someone else does not destroy its validity for you! It is called 'having the courage of one's convictions'.

that's basically been 2000 yrs, that may not long pondering how long mankind has roamed the earth and how previous the earth somewhat is. submit to in suggestions, 1000 yrs is nearly an afternoon to God. So 2000 yrs isn't long in any respect. God is right here. you basically refuse to make certain and hear Him. you haven't any longer any faith. so which you do no longer understand that. Muhammad did no longer have intercourse with a 5 12 months previous. She replaced into 6 while they married and he or she replaced into 9 while that they had intercourse. She began her era then. no longer uncommon for situations lower back then. And in some cultures right this moment. in accordance to which Christian denomination is the international 10,000 yrs previous???????????? i'm Catholic and am taught and have faith the planet is a few million yrs previous. Mankind has been around for over 30,000 yrs. that's some Christians that have faith the planet is in simple terms 6000 12 months previous. i've got by no skill heard of 10000 yrs. the place did you get that archives? possibly, I recommend, which you look at your ingredients extra ideal till now believing what you study or hear.

The Bible speaks of people questioning whether Jesus was real or not during the end times. I'm not saying now is the end times, but there are a lot of signs that if you actually read the Bible you would find out. Rumors of wars to come (WW3), families murdering each other (seems to happen on a daily basis now), people denying there is a God (like you are doing), the repeated sightings of the mark of the beast 666 (seen it on license plates, receipts, people's usernames, etc.), also the number 23. 2/3 =0.666 In the NBA what are the names of the most popular stars with those names. Michael Jordan...LeBron James. Michael is the name of an angel of God's and He and Gabrielle are meant to return with Jesus to the Earth. Jordan is similar to the Jordan River. The same river Joshua cross because God calmed the waters so the Israelites could cross. And the names Joshua and Jesus mean the same thing. Look how Joshua had to trust God to cross a path that was inpenetrable. We must trust Jesus to be our path to God. Without Jesus there's an inpenetrable "river" that we cannot cross to get to God. James was a disciple of Jesus. As a matter of fact James was Jesus' brother. Just a couple examples that prove not just God, but Jesus is real too. Even the devil himself believes in God and you know what's really bizarre, the devil believes everything in the Bible. However, he chooses to not accept Christ. The devil having been around God and knowing the situation has all the evidence he needs to accept Christ. However, he chooses not to. The devil is a trickster. The devil wants you to ask questions like that to cause people to stray from the truth. The devil doesn't make anyone do anything. He simply encourages and points people in the direction he wants them to go. Ultimately his path ends in destruction and in Hell. The devil is like the kid at a pool party that got pushed into the pool. The devil is on his way down. While he's going down he wants to try to bring as many people down with him. Would you rather get pulled down to the lake of fire with him or go with God in Heaven to live a peaceful life for all eternity. Think about my comment before you simply pass it off as just another Christian activist. I don't claim Christianity. I claim Jesus. Jesus is not a religion and that is where the church has caused confusion amongst people. Jesus did not claim to be Catholic, Christian, Prodestant, Roman Orthodox, whatever. He was Jesus and He was God. The difference is Jesus was 100% man just like us. Living on Earth he did not utilize His God powers like Bruce Almighty shows. His miracles that He performed were because He trusted in God His Father. What's amazing is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one and the same. It's a bit complicated to explain because it is an idea that human beings' brains cannot comprehend. But God is in everything, everyone, every creature. He created it all. It is only He who never had a creation nor will he expire. He always was, currently is, and forever will be. The reason Jesus could die was because He was a man on Earth. However, Jesus didn't really die completely. His earthly form expired but He immediately began His eternal life at death. However, Jesus is God. However, the reason God doesn't come down Himself is because God is too complex for a human to understand. We would probably die of basically a massive headache overload. So to simplify things for us He formed Himself in the form of a human so we can understand Him. Yet people still question. We'll see. Think about this though. If I'm wrong then when I die I will simply not exist. But if you're wrong then you will spend an eternity in Hell. Do you want to take that chance?

Lately there have been a lot of questions asking for real proof that Christianity is true. So far, each time I answered, all I got were thumb downs. The critics, skeptics, mockers and scoffers try to discredit the Bible by taking things out of their contextual settings, so I'm wondering do people REALLY want to know the Truth about Christianity, or are these just hellbound heretics trying to destroy Christianity?
I have said this so many times I've lost count, but the proof, as they say my dear watson, is in the pudding!
When you watch a person go from complete drug addict to totally sane and sober in mere moments, when you see a bad person turn "good", or a wrong person turn "right", THAT is the evidence that the Bible is truly the Word of God.
Go to ANY Teen Challenge center for personal testimonials of people whose lives have been radically changed by the power of the Gospel message.
In my own life, I was transformed from a lifestyle of drug abuse in a moment of time (well, maybe 3 seconds!). I grew up in a household in which Jesus was considered some kind of crazy deceiver, a liar, and above all else, dead! When Bryan offered to pray for me, I said he could, thinking that talking to a dead man would have absolutely zero results.
He prayed, God heard, and I discovered very quickly that Jesus truly IS the Son of God!!!
The complete story is too long to relate it all here, but suffice it to say that I "met" Jesus and had an encounter with God that totally and radically changed my life.
Jesus gave us a sure fire test that any HONEST seeker can try. He said that "If you want to know if my teachings are from God (which assumes God's existence), or just that of a mere man, then OBEY THESE COMMANDS (refer to the Sermon on the Mount), and you shall know."
People who have taken that challenge have NOT been disappointed. I've had a LOT of people tell me that they wouldn't bother. What does that tell me about those people? It's like I keep saying - people don't believe in God because they don't WANT to believe in God! It's not an issue of evidence, but one of morals - people just do NOT want to be held morally accountable to a higher Authority. Jesus said it like this, "People refuse to come to me because their deeds are evil."
Now, the ball is in YOUR court. Do you dare take Jesus' challenge (no - not by faith - obey because you want to prove once and for all whether Jesus was speaking some kind of Ultimate Truth or not), or do you admit that you're just another three dollar phony?

There is lots of historical evidence and other facts however there is no definitive proof for any religiouse system... the hisroty wich i am refeing to is Josephos (i think thats spelled right) he was a roman historian and he mentions Jesus and his disciples aswell as verifying some of the major biblical themes in what he records the message of the desciples... Go get the book "I don't have enough Faith to be an Atheist" by Frank Turek, the book goes into a lot more, it was very interesting

I'm not sure I understand. Christianity is a belief that Jesus is the Son of God. We have a lot of proof that Christianity and Christians exist. What exactly are you asking proof of? Jesus Christ himself?
There is a book called The Historical Jesus. It's very good and gives a good deal of proof based on current values for determining fact. It is extremely well written and provides a great deal of information presented from an intellectual point of view. I recommend you read it.
Also, there is another good book called Who Moved the Stone. Again it approaches the resurrection story from a skeptics point of view, using history and knowledge of what we do know...it reasons out that Jesus was resurrected.
These are both good books of you are looking for proof.

A lot of Christians like to look for scientific/historical proof to back up their faith, and I admit that I did too. I found enough that was necessary to be convincing, but now I like to look at how God has personally changed my life. Obviously, that evidence might not be enough for you, but I can attest to the fact that God is alive and well.
I'd say that if you really do search out the question (like in books, scholarly journal's, reference sources) you're still going to come to a point where the decision is based on what you want - whether you want to put your faith in Him or not.
