Fresh fruits of all kinds and fresh veggies of all kinds, various types of lettuce but not much iceberg as it has almost no nutrition. Skinless chicken or turkey, fresh fish, nuts, low fat yogurt, cottage cheese and other dairy products. Nuts, peanut butter, whole grain breads and whole grain pasta. Whole grain crackers, air popped popcorn. This list is endless if you just stay away from most prepackaged foods. Think in terms of garden or farm fresh.

You may not want to hear this but healthy food are the ones that God gave you from the good Mother Earth. fruits and veggies (which includes spinach). And spinach is probably the most health of all, it gives you more calcium than milk and more protein that steak. It protects your eyes from failing and will even improve your eye sight. It builds muscle and give you lots of iron. and you will never get a toxic amount of iron eating spinach as you can taking pills. Spinach in my salad, yumm and steamed spinach, delicious, sauteed spinach extra yumm, yummie.

A perfect healthy diet
1) FRUITS AND VEGGIES, 12 to 15 servings a day. A serving can be from 1/2 cut on some to 1 cup on other (spinach)
2) NO MEAT- OR AT least limited meat, NOT FRIED
3) GRAINS, bread is OK if it is mixed whole grains, not
refinned white flour
4) lots of clean water, your body is primarily water and your body processes will not work properly without water. no soda pop water, not juice water
5) NOTHING WHITE, flour, mayo, sugar, salt, milk, etc
6) NO FAST FOODS-most are not food anyway, plastics and chemicals. Buy a McD kids meal, staple the ticket to the sack so you have a date, put in on a shelf and leave it for 3 months, it will not rot, and the bugs won't eat it.....because it's not food.
7) NO PROCESSED FOODS. read the labels it you can read it, don't eat it. When you get into the box, pefab meals is when you can get into trouble.
8) NUTS, pecans, walnuts and almonds great necessary oils
9) good supplements could be
Omega 3, B-12, and JuicePlus+

10) EVERYTHING IN MODERATION

If your looking for something quick that you can just pop in to the microwave, just check for products that have the health check on it. Look for products low in trans fat and saturated fats and low in sodium. Make sure that you are providing your body with proper vitamins and nutrients by consuming a large variety of foods, (i.e. not just meat, but a well balanced diet including spinach) But in general all food that has to be prepared as the possibility of a health benefit. Its how you cook the food and what you put on it.
