Are god believers allowed to debate? Wouldn't that mean they are open to the idea of being wrong? Sounds like sin territory if you ask me.

I always prefer a debate with an atheist as long as their is a tone of mutual respect. I didn't come about my belief as a Christian on a whim, so I don't like the condescending tone of "some" atheists, but for the most part I've met quite a few who have interesting ideas and am always up for sharing my beliefs.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

Depends on the atheist. If the atheist has severed their irrational side and can't admit they experience love or that emotions and intuitions have value then a debate would involve rationality but not reason, better to spend time with them talking about the weather.

A debate with an atheist. Provided that the atheist was capable of logical reasoning and analysis, without continuous ad hominem attacks and ceaseless ridicule. That narrows the playing field considerably.

Why are assorted the questions I see right here from self-proclaimed athiests so impolite? the respond is they are no longer searching for an answer or maybe debate, purely a combat. in case you rather are seeking for a life like debate right here, then you definately're misusing the positioning. yet maximum such questions are not searching for even that. I replied an athiest's question with the aid of calling it what it replaced into--bigoted. that's what it somewhat is once you generalize some team of individuals, and that's what replaced into finished in that "question". Did he debate? No, he suggested me for insulting him with the aid of calling him a bigot and had my answer bumped off, purely proving that he replaced right into a bigot that believed in censorship. i could have concept an atheist could be extra open minded, or maybe supportive of non-public rights, yet i replaced into apparently incorrect. it rather is properly no excuse for a Christian to act rudely, and intensely few of the Christians that i understand behave that way. there'll continuously be some. yet there is apparently no ethical coaching that restrains athiests from behaving poorly in the direction of others, with particularly obtrusive effects.
