Photo flow helps the film to dry without getting spots on it.

Add a small amount of PhotoFlo to the final rinse water (a final bath after the long rinse to get rid of the fixer). I forget the "proper" amount, but a capful or so ought to do. If you see any bubbles on top of your water after stirring, you definitely have enough. It doesn't take much. If you use too much you will get a visible residue on your film.

Rinse your film in this water and hang your film in a dust-free drying area. Some people like to gently squeegee the film with a double-sided squeegee made for the purpose (careful - the emulsion is very soft at this point).
