I think the mince pie thing had to do with preventing gluttony.

Not sure exactly what to think about the ban on eating mince pies on Christmas. Maybe an attempt to forbid, or at least tone down, the celebration of Christmas?

My favorite is the pregnant women peeing in policemen's hats. If that were legal here I'd have to knock up my old lady just to take it out on some of those SoBs!

Anyone scoured Liverpool's Tropical Fish stores ?

The pie thing was to avoid one of the seven deadly sins: Gluttony.

However...OMFG! That's crazy. I thought the US had some crazy *ss laws (Like it's illegal to herd your sheep in Downtown Pontiac, MI on Sunday, or it's illegal to beat your wife on the steps of town hall on Sunday somewhere in the south....not sure where). It looks like they need to go through some of those laws and get rid of the outdated ones.

I read that. It told you what the mince pie thing was in the article.

We have funny, outdated laws here too. In the Texas election yesterday, the position of state hide inspector was abolished.

it is illegal for a woman to be topless except as a clerk in a tropical fish store

Where is the problem with that? I would buy an aquarium, but other than that.
