Because you've faulty logic. Even if (and I stress the 'if' mightily) nine out of ten terrorists are in fact Muslims, it does not follow that every Muslim is a terrorist. That statement only 'proves' that most terrorists are Muslims, not the other way round. Thus there can be hundreds of millions of Muslims who are perfectly correct to claim they are not terrorists, and yet nine out of ten of the active terrorists of the world could still be Muslims (I don't think they *are* but they could be). I guess the first step in working this out is to compare the actual number of terrorists in the world with the world population of Muslims. If the former is indeed 90% of the latter, then maybe you're onto something. Maybe.

You can not classify an entire religion based on the acts of a small percentage. And furthermore, some of the Muslims are claiming that the "Muslim Terrorists" are not "true" Muslims, some say there are different "types" of Muslims. Is that so hard to believe? Aren't Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, etc. also called Christians? And do all of those religions believe the absolute same things?

Maybe 9 out of 10 terrorists are Muslim, that does not mean that 9 out of 10 Muslims are terrorists. Try to be sensible, you know that most Muslims do not support terrorism.

What a stupid question. In fact this is one of the most ignorant questions I have ever, ever answered. For a start, you have no idea of what all Muslims say, do and think. Have you asked them all? No, of course not. And "muslim" terrorists are deluded in the fact that they have misinterprted the Qu'ran (Islam holy book) and beleive it is telling them to commit violent and awful acts. An actual Muslim follows a religion of peace and would never commit an act of terrorism, as they read the Qu'ran literally. Terrorists connected with Islam are NOTHING like Muslims. They call themselves Muslims, but you ask the first Muslim you see and you will find that their beleifs are absoloutley contradicting. It is like..some people read the bible and take it one way, others take it another. "Muslim" terrorists have done this with the Qu'ran but to an extreme level.

The number doesn't apply to the opposite; 9 out of 10 muslims aren't terrorist. I would say it's closer to 1 out of 100. If it's not past that number.

Your logic is not very good. If (for instance) there are 1000 terrorists active in this world, and 900 of them are Muslims, and there are over 1,000,000,000 (?) Muslims in the world, then mathematically speaking, only 0.00009% of Muslims are terrorists. If there are 100,000 terrorists in this world, then only 0.009% of Muslims are terrorists. If there are 1 million terrorists in this world, then only 0.09% of Muslims are terrorists. Whatever way you look at it, more than 99% of Muslims are NOT terrorists. It seems likely (statistically speaking) that any Muslims you have talked to are telling the truth... they're not terrorists.

That's the crappest logic I've witnessed since someone told me that they're smart because they don't 'believe' in God, but choose to 'believe' in the Big Bang theory instead.

I know plenty of real muslims who aren't terrorists. I even have muslims in my family.

My question to you is, why is America not called a terrorist state, when 9 out of 10 Americans I speak to say things like "KILL 'EM ALL" when asked what do to about the rest of the World? That's a half joke by the way.

Another question is, why is no one shocked at how the Americans have changed their choice of language when talking about Nuclear weapons in Iran? At first they were afraid Iran might want to build nuclear weapons, but recently I've heard Americans at the highest level on public radio claiming that Iran IS trying to build nuclear weapons, yet I haven't heard this confession from any Iranian as of yet...
