My PS3 looks ok on my 1080p screen but not great. Do I need to calibrate my screen?

I have a rear projection HDTV.

There are no rear projection TV's that do 1080P. It is probably doing 1080i. In reality, the TV is really a 720 screen which is fitting or resizing everything to fit.

What is the model of TV. What looks not great about the picture???

do you have the gold platted cable, that is what we have and we also have a rear projection HDTV. look freaking awesome
