I think Christians' sex lives should be very closely connected to their spirituality.
One of the reasons intercourse is so innately satisfying for us humans is because it is union (it's supposed to be union) between two people. On this physical plane, it bridges the empty space between 2 people who love one another. That is a kind of duplication of what happens on the spiritual plane when we unite in love with God or other people.
God is all about union. Heaven will be ongoing union with God and other people.
On earth, people being connected heart to heart with each other and God reaching down through Jesus to connect with us in our human flesh.
So, unless it is abusive, sex imitates the union we will have in heaven with all people and with God.

What should or should not be part of your spiritual life is surely dependent on the path that you are on. To use this as a means of insisting that a partner has sex with you or it would be un christian (in this case) is clearly wrong. TO include sex in an expression of love and a process of bonding between a married couple is however part of a spiritual experience. It isn't however as important as modern society makes it.

Procreation is not the only reason, no. It is also a special time that a married couple shares and become united as 'one flesh' as the Bible puts it. And the first question you asked about why some people are fertile. It's a birth defect. [though sometimes it can be caused by something else or a disease.] There are many kinds of birth defects and that is one of them. It is man's sin that ultimately allowed such horrible things into the world.

A Christian cannot and should not separate between the sacred and the secular- everything that a believer does has to be based on God and His Word- because through His blood we are made holy- Sex is wrong outside of marriage, but wonderful where God ordained it- marriage- sex within a marriage is holy and pure

I do. The reason we save sex for marriage is because it is beautiful, sacred and spiritual. As an energy therapist, I can tell you that the results of indiscriminate sex upon the spirit are tremendous. For each encounter, you leave a part of your spirit behind with that person, and take into yourself a part of their spirit... It can make a person become very confused about who and what they are, ie identity problems. Within marriage, sexual intercourse does the same... makes your identity meld with that of your spouse. The more you do it, in love (and mutual enjoyment) the more your identity will meld with that of your spouse. The trick is, men and women are so different in their sexual needs... to make it an enjoyable experience for both, both people are required to learn a lot, and consider each other. It is a very spiritual process.

If you are a devout Christian, everything should be connected to your spiritual life.
Sex isn't dirty if you're married and it is done out of love or to make babies. However, sex is dirty if it's just casual hooking up and it's not with someone you love or care about. It's physically dirty because you can get AIDS and STD's that way.

It's ok to connect spirituality with sex, just as long as you make it clear to God there will be NO voyeurism allowed while you're in the heat of the moment.

sex within the confines of marriage is a wonderful and okay thing to do....and is sanctioned by God.
most Christians have been taught that for decades now...
if someone isn't teaching that they will get in trouble at the end
regardless of thier personal feelings about the matter for all
the trouble they cuase..

Sex is connectedness with our spouse. That is quite an expression of the body and spirit.
You cannot separate the two.
If you do it either becomes "evil" or empty. A simple pleasure.
