A few weeks ago I was in Philadephia visiting some relatives. One evening as I stood on the porch holding my thirteen month old cousin Deja, who to that point only said the occational "Dada". I began to teach her to say car as I had done to just about everything else she touched or saw; pointing to a parked car on the street...."Car?....Car?....Say Car" I said....she pointed to the sky...."Sky?...Sky?...say Sky"...she didn't respond so I responded to the aircraft that flew by...Airplane?...Airplane?...Say Plane?" She kept point up. " Heaven? Say Heaven"I asked. She began to scratch the side of her head as if pondering about the word. Then she said "Angel?". "Yes Angel" I said "and you are one of them who came here to do some special work" I explained.
She continued to scratch the side of her head, her eyes circling trying to find answers and then she mumbled. "Angel up tada tadown here".
Did She recall Heaven?

Jesus said "I am from above, you are from below." We did NOT preexist our earthly life.
Of course, that doesn't preclude that at that age of innocence, the Lord could have been very real to her.

that is a fair question. The answer would be no. We were known to him in his mind before he even created the visible things that now exist and even things that dont (like atoms etc..).
God created before the world existed, before the universe. Time was created for the universe and for Man; because God will end time ... but eternity never ends.
Once he created (as the Bible says) in the beginning, after creating heaven and populating it with angels, then created all the universe, including the earth, plants, animals, etc... then he created a man... then a woman to be his mate. From then on as people were reproducing (pregnancy) each was given a soul - a being that was known by God before he created them. But no one except the triune God existed before all this creation.

Children are usually much more innocent and open minded than adults. They are able to see more than we are able to see. They can see their angels , guardian angels that we cannot see. They point to them and talk to them That is why she recalled heaven an angel because they can see more than we do but over time they loose that ability to see what the adults can't
