Yes, we know he is illegal
What if he is here because our country wants/allows him here. Is not the country partly responsible.

2007-11-07 06:31:21 · update #1

Why would he be dishonest for coming here illegally when the governments allows him to come.

2007-11-07 06:43:39 · update #2

This question will be around for a long time because it is not that simple/black & white. Yes, criminals should be sent back but most are only trying to live and are good people. Besides it would not be that simple to send back 40 million people.

Yes, every President and all the Congresses since Reagan allowed the entry of illegal aliens w/o any consideration for the laws on immigration. Both parties allowed this to happen. To ignore it is to approve / allow it.

Finally, part of me wants to send them all back but my honest good side feels sorry for these people seeing, though some say not true, that the government is partially to blame for they being here and if I were poor and wanted work and money for my family, I would come here to work and provide for my family. Looking at our Presidential candidates, Hillery would let them all in and open all the borders. At least the Republicans want to secure the borders.

I would if I thought it would do any good. If getting illegals deported was as easy and simply turning them in, we would not have our current problem. The government wants them here or else they would protect the border. Think about it.

no visa no stay.
come legally or don't come.
the government did not cause these people to commit a criminal act by crossing our border without papers AND THEY KNOW THAT!!!

maybe instead of marching and complaining they should be monitoring their own neighborhoods for the hooligans that are causing all the trouble, the ones that are committing all the crimes and cheating the government out of benefits that they are not entitled to...

if you are living next door to a drug dealer you know!!!
etc etc etc. they know what is going on, now is the time for them to help us get rid of the bad elements if for no other reason to take the heat off themselves. the trouble makers are the ones causing most of the fuss and everyone else is taking the heat. it's just that there are soooo many of them and no one can spot the good from the bad. so let them all go home then!!!

How can the guy be honest when he has to resort to using fraud to live in America. This is no honest guy. These illegals print out fake documents thereby corrupting themselves. You do not get a better life when you use deceit, lying and manipulation to avoid exposure of their true nature and to evade accountability. Illegal aliens are constantly imposing on others a false reality made up of distortion and fabrication

In a heart beat. I support this country and we are a country of law. Illegal is a criminal act, get it now. Nice spin though.

Our government did not allow him to enter our Country. Had he applied to legally enter our country and passed all the screenings, then he would have been 'allowed' to enter.

The first act against our country was his illegal entry. Hard working doesn't much matter. Is it a job a legal citizen could handle? Most likely so.

Honest people do not commit crimes.

He is a criminal illegal alien and needs deportation

I would not do that. And if someone came to my door asking questions I would tell them to go talk to the people about their status....If I knew it and they were violating the law then I would want them to leave this country....

The government didn't "allow" him to come just because they didn't catch him. Come on, man!

If you shoplift and get away with it, did the store "allow" you to steal?
---------------------------------
As far as some people wanting him here... the law says otherwise and until that changes, it is what it is.

Some people want drugs and prostitution to be legal...they aren't. Some people want the speed limit to be 100 mph ... it isn't. Some people want dog fighting legalized ... it hasn't been.
--------------------------------
You have no logical arguments, do you? You've chosen your position based solely on emotion and now you grasp at straws to try to justify it. It's ridiculous.

-------------------------------
Ten years ago we legalized 5 million and that was supposed to fix it. Now we have 40 million. If you legalize them, how many more do you think we'll have in the next ten years?

The only reason this issue is going to stay around is because of people like you who don't understand the severity of the problems caused by the unchecked influx of 3rd world poverty.

No, I am not an INS agent. It is not my place to "turn people in" unless they are harming me or my family.
He is honest, hard-working and a family man. That sounds like a good neighbor to me.

Yes. he is already proved that he is not completely honest in that he violated the law to get here. I would have a burglar arrested even if they took nothing and cleaned my house; they still entered without my permission.

Your argument that the government "allowed" or "wants" him here is complete BS. While the border has always been a little too easy to bypass a fence is being built and there is a force of thousands of border patrol agents that intercept people crossing everyday. Your statement is an insult to these hardworking men and women.

So where do you stop then? If he was a thief, shop lifter, attacked people, raped women, abused children?

Illegal aliens are breaking the law. The moment you start saying that is OK because he is a nice family man you have to start judging the more difficult breaches of law mentioned above!!!

Illegal aliens drag the economy down, take up housing that is needed more by the poor and disadvantaged and put local people out of jobs.

Illegal is illegal and you have a duty as a responsible citizen to report it!!!!
