I'm still trying to figure this out.

Monday night at my Newman club meeting the father had those that wished to stay pray around the alter. A bunch of weird stuff happend and basically he told me something about me that no one knew. I was scared to death and ran off.

Thankfully God knew I would and planned the events so that I didnt leave the building, I ended up huddled in a corner crying. But, now that I think of it, why did I run? Why was I crying and weak and scared?

I dont understand it.

I had a similar experience, it was scary. But I realized God was working through him to let me know what God was trying to teach me. Be brave! Don't run, just embrace God. All of him and he will see you through. Like a person once said."What God will bring you to, he will bring you through". You don't don't see it now but you will later, promise.

Demons have been on this earth for a LONG time. They know all about you. I think your "inner Christian" ran because it sensed demons. We are not suppose to listen to demons. Satan's angels will masquerade as an angel of light sometimes.

God does not promote fortune telling or communicating with the spirits. The Bible says that some of the churches proclaiming to belong to God would perform miracles to deceive even the elect if it were possible. Could this have been a deception to keep you in a church that doesn't preach everything according to the Bible?

You are very vague but I'm going to say that everything that happened and was said has logical and reasonable answer that has nothing to do with a god. You made the choice not to leave because you didn't want to leave. The crying, weak, and scared was a show so that you could get attention from those around you.

Challenging question. One possibility is that you are being led by the Spirit of YHVH, and perceived another spirit there. Try to test the spirits (by Scripture). Scripture is about the marriage of the bride to Yahoshua (the Savior). Most people are following another spirit.

I'd say because your belief was hit in the face with some hard confirmation of the reality of God and His attempts to reach you through another person, and it frightened your natural mind. You may have a little 'Jonah' in you..

when things happen that we dont understand....especially when someone seemingly knows something that they have no way of knowing, people generally get scared. there is no reason to be really afraid however, as long as you truly believe that your priest is there to help you....stay true to your faith and be not afraid

The disciples thought Jesus was a ghost when they saw him walking on water and got scared and freaked out. You are not alone. You are very blessed God is touching your life that way. He wants you IN the light .....all the way in. God bless you dear.
