I believe in both. Science can help explain just how God does create. The two are not incompatible.

I do not believe in either.
I trust science. Science is repeatable and reliable. It has shown itself to be trustworthy. Fundamentally there is no experiment that has ever been done that I (with the right time and equipment) could not repeat and come to the same conclusions. This is the cornerstone of science. It is independent of the scientist and it is unambiguous. If any part is ambiguous then you keep thinking up and performing experiments until it is clear.
Religion is bases on doctrine and dogma. It conflicts with reality and the best that it's leaders can do is say 'Oh, those bits of the holy texts are allegorical, but the rest is the gospel truth, honest it is!' Yeah, right. until some new fact is discovered that conflicts and then the goalposts get dragged a bit further over again.

religion !most of the crap the call "SCIENCE " isnt even logical
and any way if you think about it the Bible is science, and History, it is just that people choose not to believe it, so if you say you believe in science than you believe in the bible
But don't believe every religion that is out there make sure you do some seriouse studying before you decide what is real and what is not

One does not have to believe in science. Science is based on facts and data or it is not science. What one believes about it does not change anything. Religion has to be believed or it would require no faith.

I believe in Religion that is based on truth... not the traditions of men. I believe in proven science that is fact... not the theories of men based on speculation. Within those limits religion and science can exist in harmony.
When you mix false religion based on misinterpretations of scripture and the traditions of men... with... fables that are offered in the name of science (science fiction) then you wind up with irreconcileable differences and false conflicts.

That's like asking if I believe more in apples or oranges. The fields cover different ground for me - spirituality exists along side of science, not in opposition.

The Bible backs up science. For instance:
How the eath is held in space: Before anybody could go into space or had the concept of the shape of the earth, the Bible simply stated (in about the year 1473 B.C.E.): “[God is] hanging the earth upon nothing.” (Job 26:7)
-The shape of the earth: 2,700 years before such voyages proved the earth was flat, the Bible said “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth.” (Isaiah 40:22)
-The composition of living things: God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground,” Genesis 2:7 The World Book Encyclopedia says: “All the chemical elements that make up living things are also present in nonliving matter.” So all the basic chemicals that make up living organisms, including man, are also found in the earth itself.
-Everything according to its kind: The Bible states that God created the first human pair and that from them all other humans descended. (Genesis 1:26-28; 3:20) It says that other living things, such as fish, birds, and mammals, did the same, coming forth “according to their kinds.” (Genesis 1:11, 12, 21, 24, 25) This is just what scientists have found in the natural creation, that every living thing comes from a parent of like kind.
God came first, and basically in just the past relatively few years we are coming to know about science.

Science is not a belief system. Science is a method for finding truths about the world.

I believe in both. Just when it comes to things like the Lord I have to put my faith in that. But all the stuff we can study science is the way to go. Keeps us busy.
