They are not branches of sciences. They are considered to be pseudo-sciences (fakery).

At one time alchemy was considered an exact science. Then chemistry came out of it - thus began its decline. Alchemy often has occult associations and is associated with the New Age Movement. The Philosophies that surround it are not Christian.

God forbids His people to avoid anything that is occultic. Case in point - astrology. This is considered an occult science and a form of divination that God despises (Deuteronomy 18:10).

Intelligent design can be objectively verified and demonstrated. You cannot have infinitely complex systems being created with no designer. The DNA code is more complex than any car, house, computer or anything man made. It could not have come about through blind chance. It goes against the laws of probability. Therefore God had to design it.

You have asked which of the aforementioned three is scientific. You must remember that there is true science and false science. This is because science is always changing. At one time the atom was the smallest indivisible particle of matter. Latter, this was disproven when sub-atomic particles were discovered.

Today astronomers are discovering how much more vast the universe was than was previously thought. New cestial bodies are being discovered and old scientific theories are being revised. So science consisits of a lot of changing hypothesis. In other word what may be considered true scientifically today, may be considered false or untenable tomorrow.

Take this into consideration:

Numbers are a great part of God's revelation and God uses
numbers straight throughout the Bible. There is nothing
intrinsically wrong with them because God created them. However, Satan has taken what God originally meant for good and perverted it.For instance, there is good music and bad music which is demonic. There is good dancing and bad dancing which is suggestive and lascivious. Likewise, when numbers are used for man's selfish ends to predict the future or to manipulate his destiny, they are wrongfully used. God is against it because there is a demon attached to numerology and its aim is to keep one's eyes off Jesus Christ. Occult numerology is a form of divination that God classes as an abomination.

In Deuteronomy 18:10-11, God admonished the Israelites that "there shall not be among you anyone who...useth divination, or an observer of the times, or an enchanter(one who uses omens), or a witch or a charmer, or a consulter of mediums, or a wizard, or a necromancer"(one who consults spirit entities). Becasuse of these abominations God drove the enemies of the Israelites out of the land.

There is also something called "numerics" which is the study of God's use of numbers in the Bible. It is used to prove that the Bible is the inspired word of God.

OBSERVE THE USE OF THE NUMBER SEVEN IN THE BIBLE

Science and the Bible do not contradict one another! As a matter of fact, true science proves the existence of God. For instance, the DNA code contains libraries with volumes of structured information that could not have come into existence through random chance. It defies the law of probability.

The case for evolution collapses under Biblical numerics. This was the brainchild of atheist turn Christian, Dr. Ivan Panin. This Russian mathematical genius realized that an infinite network of sevens, multiples of sevens and powers of sevens permeate the whole of the Bible. As you perhaps know, seven is the God's number of spiritual perfection. There is a pattern of sevens that extends from the Hebrew Old Testament to the Greek New Testament. This is
irrefutable evidence that the Bible is the inspired word of God.

The case for evolution and the Big Bang collapses under biblical numerics. What was discovered by this scholar was that over 30 distinct patterns of sevens supported the creationist's contention of Genesis1:1, " In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." This observation goes against the evolutionist's theory that the universe evolved from a chaotic Big Bang. In the examples below, look at the amazing discovery supporting instantaneous creation and
notice the selected multiples of sevens.

"IN THE BEGINNING, GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH" (GENESIS
1:1).

1. Genesis 1:1 consist of seven Hebrew words

2. These seven words have 28 (7x4) Hebrew letters.

3. " In the beginning" consists of 14 letters(7x2) letters.

4. The last four words "heaven and earth" have 14 (7x2) letters.

5. The Fourth and fifith words " heaven and earh " have 14 (7x2)
letters.

6. The three key words: "God, Heaven and Earth" have 14 (7x2)
letters.

7. The remaining number of words consists of 14 ( 7x2) letters.

8. The middle word is flanked by two other seven letter words.

9 The sum of the numberical value of the letters of God, heaven and
earth is 777 (7x111). Personally checked by my calculator!

10. The sum of the first and the last letters of the first and last
words is 497 (7x71). Personally checked by my Calculator!

You see that everything that God made is governed by exact
mathematical principles. However let me issue a word of caution. This is no excuse to use Biblical numerics as a means of influencing the future or trying to predict your own future. In other words, do not use numerics in an occultic way. Let God give you the revelation of the numbers. Develop a sensitivity to what God is trying to say because He often speaks in numbers.

Using the positivist definition of science, the first two are at least verifiable/falsifiable in principle (a test could be performed to determine whether their predictions were accurate.)

In fact, I read about a scientist who actually turned lead into gold in the early 80's. Let me see if I can find a link.

EDIT: Nope, can't find a link. If I remember correctly, they bombarded a lead atom with protons and neutrons until it became a gold atom. It decayed a few nanoseconds later.

None are actually science in the modern use of the word...

None of the above.

What cultural and temporal context are you asking in, then?

Kepler, for example, did horoscopes to beef up his income...

Edit: Wow... someone must've been not so intelligently designed if they can't live with the concept of contextual angles.

intelligent design. It uses the exact same scientific facts as evolution, but it simply gives a different interpretation to those facts
