Over the last year my aunt has had it pretty rough. She lives alone with 4 dogs. But lately she has been seeing this guy who is about 10 years younger.(Age dosen't bother me) He moved in with her about a month ago and she has never been the same since. My father (Her brother) went over to her home a few weeks ago and saw that she had started taking drugs. (Not sure what Type) Once my dad said something to her about it, She told him to get out of her house and if he ever came back she would "Blow his Brains out". Before all this they were very close like best friends. She also threated me. Then about 2 days ago she calls and our home and says that she is going to commit sucide because her life isn't worth living. Then yesterday she tells us that she is out on the streets. She lost everything bec. she spent it all on drugs. Wat should we do?? Do we help her or do we let her figure things out on her own???? Sorry for such a long story :)

Maybe your aunt took up with this guy 10 years younger because she was lonely for affection and attention -- and maybe the younger man was out to take her for any money she might have had.

Given this situation, he probably used drugs, and she joined him to be accepted. Sad but probably true.

I think that, if your family wants to help her ONCE, it's ok... it's asd that she lost everything because she was so lonely and naive and didn't see this guy's intentions.

it was most likely the drugs that made her act crazy. some times when people take drugs it can make people have thoughts of killing the people that are trying to help them or to harm themselves. if it was me i would try to help her all i could you cant turn your back on family members no matter what had happened in the past. she needs to get into a rehab and get her life back together. then after she gets out help her get back on her feet, and pray she never goes back to the drugs. good luck and god bless

Ask her why she wants help from the people she threaten to harm and kill? If you are so bad to her, then I guess she doesn't need your help. Tell her to go commit herself and that way she can get help, but you are not taking her in or helping her out after the crap she pulled. She got herself into that mess, she can get herself out.
