If you Dr. is not concerned and says you are fine, I would not worry. I know it's frustrating when EVERYONE has to say something about your size when you are pregnant - you're too small, you're too big, you're carrying low so it's a boy, you're carrying wide so it's a girl. Just ignore them!! Everyone is different, every pregnancy is different, and everyone's body changes in different ways when they are pregnant. My best friend and I gained about the same amount of weight during pregnancy, she looked huge & I looked average. Congrats on the pregnancy :)

Ignore them. The fact that you carried your last baby the same way shows that that is normal for you. I have a boy and a girl and I carried both of them the same way too. Don't let anyone make you feel bad. Unless your doctor has expressed concern about how you are the baby is doing there is nothing to worry about. It is probably just that your friends are jealous because you aren't as big as they were when they were pregnant so they are trying to make it seem like there is something abnormal about you.

I have the same problem. I just don't worry about it. I've never been a big person, so I don't c y everyone is expecting me to be huge during this pregnancy. I'm also having a girl. If the doctor says that everything is ok, then it's ok. My baby was 12 oz. at 19 weeks & my dr said that was great. I ignore when peope make comments. People r going to talk no matter what. If u were huge...they would have something to say about that too.

There is nothing wrong with you the baby.
this common in some family genes. the mother carries child to full but only looks 3-4mos pregnant.
My grandmother, my mother and now have the same issue, on carring children. Know one know for sure where this or how this got started. just keep up on your check ups and as long as the dr says you are fine and healthy then you have nothing to worry about.

Who cares what they think? I'm 5'11'' and weigh 169 lbs and I never looked pregnant until about 29 weeks and my belly was tiny! People said the same thing to me. And plus, you've gained the normal amount of weight. I lost 27 lbs with my baby boy and he came out healthy and 6 lbs 5 oz. Don't worry. If your doctor has mentioned nothing about being worried about baby's health then don't.

As long as the baby is healthy, I dont think there is anything to worry about. I am 5'11 and had a 7 lb 11 0z boy and while I was pregnant, to me I just looked really fat. Nothing to worry about.

Everybody carries their baby differently. I have 2 girls and they were both different. My first daughter I gained 40+ lbs, and my second one I only gained 26 lbs. They were both healthy babies. They were both over 6 lbs when born.

Dont even listen to them, I heard that all the time, "you barely look pregnant!" trust me its annoying, but do your best to just disregard, and if it gets to you, just tell them that you'r having a healthy baby, and the doctor siad you and the baby are normal. They'll stop saying it once they know its offensive. But its really inconsiderate for them to tell you that so dont let it get to you. Congrats! hang in there!

As long as the doctor says you're doing just fine, don't worry. If people keep making comments, tell them the doctor said you're fine, and you're not worried about it. If they keep pushing, just stop talking to them, or walk away. You could also ask them where they went to medical school - maybe that will get them to shush! Good luck!

dont let what others are saying get to you. as long as you are eating right and the baby is growing it does not matter how much weight you gain and how big your belly gets. if the dr. thought there was something wrong he/she would let you know so dont stress and tell them to get over it.
