Well you would be making more work if you did the dishes first before making your tea, why not make your tea and do the dishes all together, after you have eaten.

Do you mean make a meal ....make your tea?.... or make a cup of tea?
Either way I put my dishes in the dish washer and then I sit down and enjoy my meal or cup of tea as the kitchen is free of dirty dishes, and also I can relax knowing they are all done by the time I have finished eating, I put them away, and then there is room to put more in.

I would make your tea before you did dishes. Because if you do dishes you will have the tea dishes left over...what a waste! LOL

Relax with your "hot" tea and then Do your dishes
you're not dishes twice and you do not get wet as you drink a cup of tea.

Do the dishes while your tea is making....
You will only have to do dishes once. Wash all the dishes while your tea is making, then wash your tea pot, then have your tea.
