It's 144,000 read Revelation Chapter 7 verse 4 and Revelation chapter 14 verses 1,2,3.
They keep coming because of Matthew chapter 24 and verse 14. Plus a love of people and wanting them to look into the bible for themselves and not just go along with what people tell them. Everything they have is free even A personal bible study where you can ask any question you want about the bible. Jesus said blessed are the mild-tempered they will inherit the Earth Matthew chapter 5 verse 5. Most will live on Earth. Like in the Lords prayer Thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Hope I helped

it depends on what your asking i guess.. jehovahs witnesses do not go door to door to get to heaven.. or to get people to go to heaven. that is not our hope. jesus tells us to preach the good news to all the nations.
matthew 24:14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
Acts 5:41, 42.
41 These, therefore, went their way from before the San´he·drin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy to be dishonored in behalf of his name. 42 And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
matthew 10:
7 As YOU go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of the heavens has drawn near
luke 8:1 Shortly afterwards he went journeying from city to city and from village to village, preaching and declaring the good news of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with him
here jesus and his deciples were preaching
luke 9:1 Then he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to cure sicknesses. 2 And so he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God and to heal, 3 and he said to them: “Carry nothing for the trip, neither staff nor food pouch, nor bread nor silver money; neither have two undergarments. 4 But wherever YOU enter into a home, stay there and leave from there. 5 And wherever people do not receive YOU, on going out of that city shake the dust off YOUR feet for a witness against them.” 6 Then starting out they went through the territory from village to village, declaring the good news and performing cures everywhere.
ps... all you have to do is be polite and simpley say... i am not intrested.. chances are they wont come back for a long time
we are not looking for people that aren't interested were looking for people who want to know the answeres to ther questions... it sounds like you have questions tho.. maybe the next time they come to do the door yous hould ask them your questiosn.

Thousands are for the new heavens Rev.3:12; Gal.4:26; Mark 13:27; Heb.12:22-24;
Billions are for the new earth 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5;
Bible is bible and religion [ man said bible said ], is religion.
Heaven and hell is not the Matt.24:3,7,14,15; message to the world.

Hi,
i hope ye are well,
i´ve seen the 144 thousand aren´t literal, of Revelation 14
It´s an interesting theme together with the 7th angels of the same chapter of revelation 14, the 144 thousand are undertood as the ones standing at the second coming of our Redeemer.
They are to pass over Jacob´s trouble and with great faith are to be found as this verse says:
"24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." Jude 24-25
Best Regards
Grace be with you

I ask this all the time. Still have not got an intelligent answer. And what is the point of doing good if your not going to heaven anyway?
Sorry I did not answer. I hate when people do that.

It's actually 140,000 that they believe will go to Heaven; they believe that the rest will live on the re-created Earth. Unfortunately, the tickets are already sold-out for Heaven, so I guess we're screwed for that.
That's why I'm glad I'm a Christian and not a JW.

We believe that 144,000 humans will go to heaven to rule with Christ Jesus, while an uncountable number of other humans will live on the earth in beautiful paradisaic conditions.
Rev 7:4- And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel
Rev 14:1- And I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads
Rev 7:9- After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands.
Psalms 37:9-11- For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
Isaiah 35:1-7;The wilderness and the waterless region will exult, and the desert plain will be joyful and blossom as the saffron. Without fail it will blossom, and it will really be joyful with joyousness and with glad crying out. The glory of Leb′a·non itself must be given to it, the splendor of Car′mel and of Shar′on. There will be those who will see the glory of Jehovah, the splendor of our God. Strengthen the weak hands, you people, and make the knees that are wobbling firm. Say to those who are anxious at heart: “Be strong. Do not be afraid. Look! your own God will come with vengeance itself, God even with a repayment. He himself will come and save you people.” At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness. For in the wilderness waters will have burst out, and torrents in the desert plain. And the heat-parched ground will have become as a reedy pool, and the thirsty ground as springs of water. In the abiding place of jackals, a resting-place for [them], there will be green grass with reeds and papyrus
Isaiah 65:21-25; And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat [their] fruitage. They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bring to birth for disturbance; because they are the offspring made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah, and their descendants with them. And it will actually occur that before they call out I myself shall answer; while they are yet speaking, I myself shall hear. “The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull; and as for the serpent, his food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” Jehovah has said.
We come to your door because Jesus commanded ALL his followers to do so. We are supposed to preach to everyone, wherever they ae to be found. We know we can find you at home.
Matthew 28:19,20- Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
Matthew 24:14- And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come
If you do not want to be called on, tell the Witnesses who come to your door to put you on the Do Not Call list. Then the local Witnesses will be informed to avoid your house.
We have such good news from the Bible to share with you!!!
