Cats are very territorial , there can merely be one dominant male in an area. they'll growl at one yet another some circumstances and have some fights till one among them supplies, then they are going to be superb acquaintances as they understand which of them in can charge. while ever a clean male comes into the section he will do a similar returned. it is merely what male cats do. that's superb to enable them to easily get on with it, and if he's offered in with some cuts and scrapes then it is common.

Something has changed in the other cat. Other cat might be sick and the one growling at it knows but you don't. Have the cat thats being growled at vet checked to be on the safe side, The only other reason is one is getting older and getting cranky in old age. One of my cats goes nuts around the little one because he constantly bites the other ones tail and wont leave it alone.

There can only be one alpha cat in a household. And that rarely remains constant.

But if there is a recent dramatic change, your male may have a health problem that you are not aware of, and the female is taking advantage of that. Remember, cats are masters at hiding problems.

If there are no health problems, just give your male cat extra love and attention. Situations like this rarely remain permanent.

did the boy just come back from getting fixed??

When a cat goes to the vets for something like that, they come back smelling weird, and yoru other cats actually can't "regocnize them".. Usually that only lasts a couple days.. but if your cat's been to the vets in the last day or two...that could be the problem..

All cats do this, some are worse than others, they will do it if they're protecting something or the other one takes the last treat! Don't worry it's normal!

Yes, just let them have their little spat... maybe it will blow over? for some reason, your female is disgusted with the male?
