Well I know its her house n stuff but I'm not a religious person. My beliefs are more 'New Age' and although my mum does not mind this and believes in a lot of it herself, she still carries out religious rituals. She does this crap in my room where all the statues are kept. She's really self contradictory- on the one hand she says that we should believe in ourselves, not depend on something external, but then she goes and carries out religious practices. Its really annoying....what can I say to her? I'm 16 btw.

Please give your mom the respect that she has earned by the simple fact that she is older than you and gave you life. Try and be patient with her and her weird ways. It is so much better for you if your mom feels you are her ally and not her enemy. That said, you don't have to believe like her but allow her the right to do what she feel is necessary to worship (short of illegalities, of course) You will thank me, I assure you.

The ritual could be performed precisely as stated under, until eventually cheezburgur is recent, then all bets are off. on the third hour of the 2d night of the 5th week you're able to take 32 steps straight away south of your in demand family contributors equipment. If there is an obstruction including a wall or staircase interior the way, it somewhat is going to be removified. in case you do not have a particular sturdy affinity to a family contributors equipment, under specific circumstances a backyard prop, the kind of gnome or carved bush formed like a animal, will do. As a final motel nekkid streaking by potential of the lake at noontide on pronounced day would be justified by using Ceiling Cat's perennial manifesto of jurisdiction, inspite of the certainty that the place you end you're able to proceed the ritual as in case you had chosen an merchandise. thank you. Now that an merchandise is chosen or the streaking has been achieved, take those 32 steps south out of your region, speedily in waddles, shouting "i admire DIPPING MY backside IN COOL WHIP". If laughter crosses your lips you're able to initiate over, yet in a crotchless gorilla experience. If the 32 steps are performed interior the suitable way, the words pronounced with power and laughter bridled, a astounding component will seem some stone's throw on your left and 3 meters severe, observed by potential of a average purring/buzzing sound mixed with the vilest of curse words and derogatory statements. do not verify out it under any situation, in spite of in case you think of it touched you! rather close your eyes, Oh crap, the drugs are donning off, the place's my blankey?

Well, I'm an atheist but I think your mom has the right to her own beliefs in her own house especially. If its the infringement on your space in your room maybe you could talk to her about having her religious icons or what not in a neutral space or somewhere else. She is respecting your beliefs so you should respect hers so long as she doesn't impose them on you or try to force you to share them in some way. That is how its supposed to work.

Love comes from the soul. For if love came from a hormone, then it would come from with-in like adrenaline.

People think that people imagine the feeling of love. That it’s a trick of the brain.

Yet, love comes from where the people touch you, not from with-in like a hormone. If love were up to the perception of the user, then how come no matter what mood you are in,.. you still feel love. If you hate the person loving you, you may feel grossed out to love,.. but still feel the love. If love were up to the imagination of the user, then you could trick people into thinking inanimate objects are people hugging them.

Now from what is seen here, we see that the soul has an energy that is independent of matter,.. but has side effects in matter. Hence the brain is specifically designed to react to the spiritual energies we emit.

Now what do you say about the people who have felt God’s love? Being in God’s presence charges the soul and body. It’s called the renewing of the Holy Spirit. And this residual effect goes away when people travel down old thought patterns that contradict the perfection that is God.

In Jesus's name,.. thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven!!!

unless she's dancing around in goat leggings and sacrificing animals or her rituals are hurting you, there's not much you can do until you're 18 and out of the house. you could ask if your room could be a "ritual-free zone" maybe that would work?

Move the statues out of your room.

You should discuss where they are going beforehand and definitely help move them, but you need to be clear that they are not staying in your room.

Don't sweat it. Some people need their delusions. You'll be out of the house and in college in 2 years.

Do you have a job and are you contributing to the bills? If so then I think you have a say in what goes on in your room. If not, zip it!
