The Earth was created by the gravitational attraction of elements in the Sun's accretion disk, 4.5 billion years ago. Supernatural explanations are not necessary.

"of" the earth? YES, if you believe the Bible. Genesis 1 gives an account. The Hebrew word "yom" is used over 100 times in the old Testament and in some places would have to be a 24 hour period. For example, it would be extremely hard to believe someone went for a two eon (not day) walk. John chapter 1 talks about Jesus being active in the creation of the world.
