Connect your modem to router (it's better to get one with VPN support), then connect PC and PS3 to a router. Your PS will be able to surf the internet and you can establish Media Server connection between PC and PS3. This'll allow PS3 to play media files straight from your PC without downloading. Windows Media Player 11 or TVersity required.
