your dad should see a dr and allergy specialist for the rash first. if it just developed, i'd doubt it's from the dogs.
if your dad loves the dogs, I doubt he's doing a halfbutt job....they need to see a vet to get flea and tick prevention.

Washing the dogs everyday can cause dry skin and make them scratch like crazy. Could also be the type of dog shampoo or any other powders, etc you put on the dog. The rash may not even be from the dog but something he is using-- try eliminating the new he's been using and see what changes if anything.

A dog should never be bathed every day regardless. It dries the skin tremendously! A dog should be bathed no more than once a month, even longer in the winter because it dries their skin and makes them itch in essence. If you have had these dogs for a while, I doubt it would be a reaction to the dogs. Something to consider is checking for fleas, some people can be extremely sensitive to their bites and will result in hives and or a rash. I wish you the best of luck in resolving your problem.
Try a special shampoo for dogs with dry skin, such as an oatmeal based shampoo or something to that effect. If your dad cannot handle taking care of the dogs, you should take over ideally. I do however doubt that your father's skin condition is caused by the dogs. He should see an allergist.

Find a place where you can take your dogs for a vacation. Take as long a vacation as you can and see if your dad's rash clears up while you are away. If it doesn't then its not the dogs causing the rash.
Maybe it is the shampoo he is using to wash the dogs irritating both your dad and the dogs making the dogs itch. Maybe the dogs are being washed toooften, they need the natural oil in their hair. Perhapsif youmust wash them avcery day you should not use shampoo but use a doggy hair conditioner.
Can you move close to your dad so you can see him and still have the dogs?
There are lots of choices. Does your dad like the dogs?
My dad was jealous of my dog.

the dogs are probably scratching because thier skin is dry. If they are being bathed every day.. that is WAY too much! A dog should only be bathed once or twice a month, at most!
Has your dad been to a Dr to figure out what the rash is from? It would be pointless to get rid of the dogs and to find later that they were not the cause of the rash!

well- that is not a choice someone can make for you. If he is not taking good care of the animals, then they need to be removed from him. Either you need to move out or give them to someone who can. Also-- go to the vet. the dogs may have fleas, which would make them scratch and give your dad a rash. if the vet says nothing is wrong, then he may have developed a allergy. If i was you i would get an appartment and take the dogs with me but are you old enough to, do you have a job??

Washing the dogs every day is causing their skin to dry out, and they are itching. Your dad should see a doctor about the rash, rather than just assuming it is from the dogs. Tell your father to stop bathing the dogs for a while, but brush them at least every couple of days. If their skin does not improve then they may need to see a vet. I'm just doing derm now and I can't see the dogs, so the best I can tell you is try to contact a medical professional for each.

I'm curious to know what kind of dogs.... but, needless to say I would see what sort of shampoo he's washing them with. He needs to be using dog shampoo, not human shampoo and definitely not every day. If he is using dog shampoo, try switching to a dog shampoo for more sensitive skin. I'd be surprised if your dad got the rash from your dogs - especially if you've had them for awhile. If you just got them though - it's possible he's allergic. If the switching the shampoo doesn't work - do they have fleas? Check for fleas and give them a flea bath if they do - maybe your dad is allergic to flea bites. If that doesn't work take them to the vet and have them looked over. Skin conditions in the dogs can range from fleas, to infections, to allergies, to hereditary skin conditions and more. Your vet may be able to give you answers and come to show that your dads rash had nothing to do with the dogs.

They are probably scratching because they are being washed too much. For a short-haired breed, it is probably not necessary to wash at all - they will mostly take care of themselves and brushing for a few minutes a day will take care of loose hairs. If the dogs are long-haired, brushing each day is still mostly all they need, although you will probably need to take them to the groomer every few weeks for a trim and at that time the groomer will probably bathe them.
The other most likely reason for excessive scratching is fleas. Have you treated with Frontline or Advantix? If you have used any of the cheaper flea treatments, the dogs could still have fleas and this is why they are scratching. Look in their fur for any little black specs which is flea poop and if it is there, the dogs have fleas for sure. You will need to treat with one of the above-mentioned brands of flea treatment in order to get rid of the fleas both on the dogs and prevent new ones jumping on.

Your question is kinda rambly. I do know that bathing a dog everyday is not a good thing. It tends to dry out the skin and that is why they are scratching. If you are talking about letting them go, just be careful. Sometimes it is better to take them to a no-kill shelter because they do a lot of screening on their candidates for adoption.
