Look here http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/fl find the city thats closest to you and go to the pet section. There are often used extra large crates, kennels, carriers, etc, sold for cheap, yet in good condition.

HMMMM That's a tough one.

* The container must be large enough for the animal(s) to stand, turn around, and lie down.
* The kennel must be made of a sturdy plastic
* The container must have a secure all around locking system with the pins extending beyond the horizontal extrusions above and below the door.
* Both water and food bowls must be attached to the inside of the front door and be refillable from the outside of the container without opening the door.
* The container must have ventilation on all four sides.
* The Container must have LIVE ANIMAL STICKERS on the top and sides in letters at least one inch tall.
* NO WHEELS. If the container has wheels they should be removed or taped securely so that the kennel cannot roll.
* The container must be identified with the pets name and owners contact information.

Try JB Wholesale at jbpet.com or Foster & Smith online. That is where we got a crate for our greyhound, Carlos, and he is 34 inches. Good Luck.

sometimes the airlines sell these crates....you can check with the particular airport to see.

you could also go to major pet supply stores, and ask them if they can order a kennel, if they don't have one in the size you need.

take care.

If you are shipping your car, put him in there! (lol) He won't be comfortable in ANY commercial airline crate. My best guess would be to call the airlines and ask them. If they approve, maybe you could have one made???

I would try buy it from the airline you are going to use then you know it will meet their standards. If they don;t sell them ask them where you can get one for their requirments. If they don;t sell them they should have a list of those who will have what you are looking for.
