Neither ............ Jesus was Jewish. Jesus lived in the Middle East, Israel. It is most likely that Jesus looked similar to those in the Middle East. Anywhere from an olive color to a darker brown or bronzed coloring. Just take a look at the people in Israel, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Egypt (though Egypt is in Africa.) Then take into consideration that Jesus was likely colored more closely to those that reside in Egypt, as when he was taken there and lived there till the age of 12, no one questioned if he was a foreigner. They would have been looking to, as the order had been made to kill all the Children his age that were Hebrew. He passed with out question, into Egypt.

It's going to happen like this..and this is just drawing a picture so I will use the clique of Pearly Gates
A person will meet Jesus at the Pearly Gates. Jesus will ask "So now that you are here, is there anything you want to know about life and love and grand scheme of things? Is there anything you want to know about my life and how I served the human race and how all of that impacted millions of lives?"
And the person laugh, shrug and go, "Nah....you see, most people where I come from, we talk about stuff like if you had been on earth, would you have worn Birkenstocks or regular sandals."
My point is, the stuff that matters to our society (or seems to matter) probably means nothing to Him. He transcends race, politics, everything except for the basic principles of love and faith.

He was Jewish and so that tells us nothing about His skin color. We think that He was light skin due to the fact that He was a Jew. Still there is a good possibility that Jesus, being born in Palestine may have been dark skinned. It really doesn't matter though.

Unfortunately we live in a world that is full of prejudice and biasness.
Skin color is merely the result of generations of a man living in a perticular climate.
So I believe the skin of Jesus would closely resemble that of those who live in Israel today.

Neither, dear one. He was Jewish and lived in the Middle East, so He was probably light brown. God's Word tells us He was "fair." So He might have been a lighter skinned Jew than most were.
God bless!

Who knows? But I highly doubt he was the blond-haired blue-eyed European depicted by Renaissance painters. Given where he lived, he'd probably have been at higher risk for melanoma than crucifixion...

If you want to know what color Jesus is, all you have to do is look in the mirror.
