There has been a challenge that I wish to undertake to show that Intelligent Design is real science and follows the scientific method. I have been challenged to offer a statement in favor of intelligent design and then show which tests have been applied to demonstrate the statement to be FALSE. If it stands up to the falsification phase, I must then show evidence and observations that SUPPORT the statement as true. Any ideas? The challenge, by the way, does not allow biblical references.

Um. Isn't intelligent design (the PC term for creationism) based on the belief in a higher power?
Sure there are holes in evolution, but its a testable theory. We don't know everything about evolution but we learn more and more over time.
Maybe you could try proving the existance of a higher power first. That should be a start. Write God a letter and ask how to do this assignment.

Tell you what, if you DO manage to do this (and good luck to you) in an honest and scientific method. Publish. You'd be the first person in history to provide evidence of creationism.
But be prepared for failure, you're starting from a false assumption after all; that god is real.

Use the Fibinacci sequence as a non-biblical support of evidence left for a universal design
You can test it in application to biology, astronomy, etc. Should prove very interesting

I just saw a DVD entitled "irreducible complexity". It was by about 6 established scientists discussing how "evolution" as a theory to explain the origin of life, or the origin of intelligent life, falls woefully short. Darwin said that if there was a case of "irreducible complexity" (like a mousetrap which needs 5 unrelated parts working in harmony to work) that the "theory" of evolution would collapse. Good luck. logic doesn't get very far against the religion of Atheism/Evolution.

So you want to show that ID is scientific by falsifying it? That's awesome.
I would say that vestigial organs offer good counter-evidence to ID claims.
