I want to get my daughter something similar to this:

The problem is that I want it to be more animal themed than sea/fairy/princess. I have been searching the internet like crazy to no avail. Does anyone know a good online store that might have something similar?

I saw something like that but it was more princess in a catalog from leaps and bounds and they showed it hanging over a bed i would try looking at leaps and bounds.com they may have something similar to what your looking for.

How about buying a plain one and going to some place like Hobby Lobby or Michaels and getting the decorations you want to add to it yourself. That way it will look exactly how you want it to and probably be cheaper. You may not even have any sewing involved, just a glue gun and some ribbon to hang the decorations from! Good Luck-that's a really cute idea!

Thta's just one of those nets that they put over girls' beds tomake them feel like a princess. Just buy a blue one, and add "under the sea" motif felt cut outs to the ring at the top.
You can find them at Walmart, Dillard's Club Libby Lu, or nearly anywhere that sells home goods for girls rooms. You shouldnt' have to pay over $30 for one (you might at Libby Lu).

you would pay $70 for 3 yards of toole you can buy at a fabric store, and 50cent sponge animals to glue on the outside?
you could make something like that for under $20, and it would be exactly what you wanted.

have you ever heard of etsy.com? it is a site where everything on it is handmade. they have thousands of sellers on there. you just type in some key words and it will bring to similar items. check in the childrens. you can even ask a seller to make something specific. and you can negotiate prices most of the time.
