We need God because we, and the 'real world' would not exist without God. It is common sense that there had to be a First Cause of everthing material. You can call that first cause anything you like, we choose to call it God. You probably call it a singularity (a one-off event in which the laws that govern all matter did not apply). Either way, the origin of the material universe is a miraculous event. At least with God as the first cause, there was no need to defy natural laws, because, as a supernatural entity, God is not subject to those laws. So your so-called scientific, materialistic, singularity first cause is even more of a miraculous event than creation by the the Supernatural First Cause, i.e. 'God'.
You can carry on worshipping your magical, materialistic, first cause by which everything material arose of its own accord out of absolutely NOTHING, and we will continue to worship our Supernatural First Cause. Just don't think that your explanation is superior or more logical than ours, because the opposite is true.

We need a real friend in God, to stop us living in our own little world on Earth. You should get out more.

I really would like to see the scientific proof you have (you do, don't you?) that god is indeed imaginary...
Myself ? I do not know... but I am not arrogant enough to claim either way...
absence of proof does NOT constitute a proof of absence...

If you can prove what you say, please go to the churches, hospices, terminally ill wards and tell them, then go to the newspapers because what you have just asked and believe is revolutionary and goes against all previous writings, so please let the world know and we will all live for today, and you will make a fortune because you have the secret of our life right their in your head. Please share this revolation with the rest of the world? It will maybe stop the dead being buried, compassion in one's family, friends, and anarchy if you have this prior knowledge which I have not read about yet. Surely you must inform the world and let all followers of any belief or faith, know how fucccking stupid they are. Will you do that please, please.

We don't. Science is steadily filling the knowledge gap which people who thought the world was flat ignorantly filled with God 2000 years ago.
lol to answer above.
So, because humans cannot see infra red light, then there exists a God???

You accept God more by faith than with imagination or anything else.
Faith is again something given by God. May God give you that through grace. God bless.

Some people are insecure and full of fear, so they need an imaginary friend who always loves them, never judges them, always understands them, and cares about things in their lives that no one else gives a rat's a s s about.
