I am about to marry a girl and we both belong to the same blood group: O +ve.

She is a bit concerned that this resemblance of blood group could cause certain medical imbalance, of which I am not very clear. We love each other and we do not want to cancel the marriage because of a matching blood group. We have decided to go ahead with the marriage overlooking any consequences.

However, I would like to know what these consequences can be and what are the possible remedies.

There is NO problem with two 0+ people getting married and having children, absolutely none. In fact, it's good you are both positive as this means there won't be any chance of Rh factor for any fetuses (if mom is + and fetus is - there's a problem). Where did she ever get that idea?
