I suggest trying a 1 for 1 swap - replace sugar with the same amount of honey.

Of course, the taste will be different and you can adjust from there.

In regards to honey being better than white sugar.
Sugar is sugar no matter if it's white sugar or honey.

Honey is just a little sweeter than table sugar so use about 3/4 the volume of honey as you would for sugar. You may also need to reduce the amount of liquid you use in certain recipes just a little since honey in liquid not dry and solid like sugar

14. Is honey more nutritious than sugar? What about other sweeteners?

On an equal weight basis, there is very little nutritional difference between honey and sugar. Because it weighs more, a teaspoon of honey contains slightly more carbohydrate and calories than a teaspoon of sugar. All nutritive sweeteners (sugar, honey, high fructose corn syrup, maple syrup, fruit juice concentrates) contain primarily sugars and should not be considered a source of other nutrients.

Honey is not necessarily better for you than sugar.

("But it's natural.")

Yeah, and so is lead, mercury, and carbon monoxide, but we dont' want them in our food, either.
