My best friend is Wiccan and she actually just got a new oven. Electric. Very top of the line. I am so jealous. You are such a bigot.

I am a Witch, a Pagan AND a Wiccan. I consider relaxed deciding on myself with all 3. I am a Celtic Green Witch. I started as a Gardnerian Witch in 1971 and dropped the coven scene to flee from the infantile politics which was once happening within the field on the time. I've been practising as a Green Wiccan-Witch in view that 1991 effectively seeing that I just like the concept of being in a position to train as a solitary and but nonetheless stay inside a Tradition. I wish they were self cleaning..... I used to hate cleaning up after ritual LOL!
Covens are all different and you need one with good people who are there for the right reasons. There is no way of knowing how your energy interacts with others without working with real people. Most traditional covens have a hierarchy that gets IMO dull after a while. They thing is to know what you are looking for from the group experience.
Avoid anyone looking for degrees, buckles and bragging rights.
Look for groups looking to expand their wisdom and connection to the Gods and the world.
Never join a coven you don't like or trust. Initiation rituals involve a LOT of trust, especially in the British Traditional systems.

I’m guessing you meant to say coven. Most Wiccans do not belong to a coven. Anyhow a coven is a group of people who enjoy doing the same thing. You’re going to have some folks get along great and some not.

Well, I am not a wiccan, but I do know a few and most like their ovens, as well as crock pots and the stovetop.

As long as those nasty little brats keep away from them, I'm sure they get along fine with their ovens...
What were the names of those kids again??
OH, yeah, I remember!
Hansel and Gretel!!
NOT popular among witches!!

I love my oven.
Gas, self-cleaning, it beeps when it's preheated...timer, and I LOVE the automatic shut-off.
It uses an advanced thermostat so that it doesn't use extra gas. Very green. Also purchased an incredibly energy efficient fridge.
One day I'll replace my ANCIENT Freezer, too...
