You hit the proverbial nail right on the head. If you tell them you're not interested, that seems to make them want to talk to you even more. One of them came up to me and started proselytizing. When I told her I was an Episcopalian, she told me I'd go to hell unless I joined her church. Boy, that's going to convince me.

Generally speaking, yes. But, unless a car salesman, their enthusiasm usually fades. A car salesman will sale cars like his soul is in jeopardy. A Christian after awhile will mellow out- sad but true.

It is an interesting phenomenon, somewhat akin to when a 5 year old learns a new joke and wants to tell everyone as if it isn't old as dirt.

they can get excited but it is about hoe much better their life is and hoe happy they are and they want the same happiness etc for you
