They could change language so that we could all get away from a belief in the supernatural. Here's an examble.

Deposit of carbon? You don't stop caring, or being human, when you stop believing in fairytales.

I would be satisfied if we could just get the word back from people who have worked so hard to redefine it. And keeping the 'a' small would be nice too.

Sadly the usage has changed to include ridiculous things like "denying the existence of god" and "A 'doctrine' that god doesn't exist"

Since when is there an atheist doctrine? And capitalizing it started as a way for theists to make the argument that it was a belief system like a religion instead of a position of non-theism.

Before anyone decides to "kick it up a notch" why not stop being exactly what theists say you are?

Anything NOT of the natural world is supernatural . Angels are not of the natural world . Do you ever see any flitting around ? Gods are not natural , no natural person can do what the Holies claim that the gods are capable of. Santa Claus is not natural . You or I can't go down a few million chimneys in one night .
One Holy says to the other , " I like Jim , he's a great pile of mud , have what's-his-name blow his breath on him so we can go out for a beer together " .

Eh no.

You have too simple an understanding of language. Its dynamic you see. Come on. The words Cross, Gospel or Lord had no religious connotations till people began attaching these meanings to those words. Nice try though.

Atheists don't believe in the supernatural, that is why we reject false superstitions.
