I have a water tank made of SS(1000ltrs) and a heavy duty compressor. I just want to spray this water with a good velocity over an object that too only 10 to 15 time a minute how to make it?...

Yes, but you could also have an explosion if you over pressurize your tank which could cause serious injury. Compressed air is pretty powerful stuff. I am not sure if you will want to fix up you system after you hear how difficult it will be.

(I presume that you are talking about an air compressor. Water is not compressible. If you have a water pump, you attach it to the tank outlet).

First, you need to find out the pressure limits of your tank. It might be just atmospheric which would prevent you from doing anything.

If your tank can handle pressure, find out how much. You will need to install a relief valve on the top that is set to pop at that pressure.

You are also going to want to install an inlet valve for water on the top of the tank and maybe a manual relief valve so that you can depressurize the tank.

You also need to install the compressor hose to the top. Starting with the tank, you need a cutoff valve, a check valve, a vacuum breaker and another check valve. This is to prevent water from backing up into the compressor. You should also install a pressure regulator on the compressor set at less than the pressure relief valve on the tank.

You then need an outlet valve on the bottom of the tank and maybe a drain valve too.

An easy way to increase the pressure of water coming out of a hose is to narrow the exit of the hose. This is because you are trying to keep the same flow through the orifice with a certin pressure upstream of the orifice. If the volume of water trying to get through the hose, and/or the pressure of the water upstream of the orifice were increased then the pressure coming out of the orifice would increase.

Its highly unlikely that your tank will stand any kind of pressure if its a standard water tank as they are simply not designed for it. If you are not sure of its pressure rating or don't have a reliable way of regulating your air pressure, then don't attempt it.

High pressure water sprays are cheap from many hardware stores
