name calling and violence, is this a normal withdrawal sympton from cymbalta? How long will this last? Her doctor told her nothing, the insurance wouldnt pay for cymbalta so he put her on something else and never told her about the withdrawal symptons for stopping cymbalta cold turkey!

This can be VERY serious...she must go to the doctor and figure out what's going on. If she went off Cymbalta cold-turkey, yes there could be lots of problems. It was irresponsible of the insurance company not to have allowed a slow withdrawal (over several months) if that's the case.

What else was she given? Zoloft is available at WalMart for $4 (for a low dose, $4 for each higher level), and that could be an option. Breaking off a drug like that can cause major depressive episode (not her fault, she has no control over it really) and needs to be checked out.

Is cymbalta so expensive that she can't afford to get it without insurance. I'm sorry, that just sucks. Here in this website is the whole list of what can happend during cymbalta withdrawal.
